SEPTEMBER 12, 2000
1. Call to Order—Mayor Pro Tem Tokar called the meeting to Order at 7:00 P.M.
2. Roll Call—Mayor Bauder, Councilman Ridge and Councilman Campbell were
excused.
3. Invocation—Councilman Glisar offered the Invocation.
4. Pledge of Allegiance—Mayor Pro Tem Tokar led the Pledge.
5. Discussion/Action on the Minutes of the August 22, 2000 City Council Meeting
and Budget Workshop.

6. Discussion/Action on an Ordinance to Levy and Assess all Taxable Property
within the Corporate Limits of the City of Cibolo for the Year 2000.
Motion to pass: Councilman Buell Second: Councilman Glisar

This passage will require validation at the September 26, 2000 Meeting
7. Discussion/Action on an Ordinance to adopt the City Budget for the Fiscal Year
beginning October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001.

8. Discussion/Action on City of Cibolo Drought Contingency Plan. Submitted to
meet the requirements of Senate Bill 1 of the Texas Legislature.
After discussion by Members and Mr. Tommy Koch, the Consultant that
prepared the Plan, the following action was taken.

9. Discussion/Action on request of Bexar Waste to exercise their two-year renewal
option on the current waste contract with the City. This contract is reflected in
City Ordinance 499.

10. Discussion/Action on recommendation of Planning and Zoning Commission to
Approve/Disapprove the final plat of Deer Creek Phase 2 Section.
Based on the recommendation of Planning and Zoning to approve the Plat the
following action was taken.

Note: Councilman Campbell joined the meeting in progress.

11. Discussion/Action on Amendment Number One to City Ordinance Number 514
Banning all landscape sprinklers during time of reduced flow of the Comal
Springs.
This Amendment is in direct response-to the Edwards Aquifer Authority ban on
sprinklers.

12. Citizens to be Heard -Ms. Ann Almond of the Planning and Zoning Commission
issued a "challenge to all Council and the Mayor to match the donation pledge of
the P&Z to donate an item to the Cibolofest Silent Auction.
