Min CC 06/25/2002 - Joint Public Hearing JOINT CITY COUNCIL AND PLANNING AND ZONING PUBLIC HEARING ON ANNEXATION AND ZONING CIBOLO MUNICIPAL BUILDING 109 S. MAIN NNE 25, 6:45 P.M. MINUTES 1. Call to Order—Mayor Ruppert called the meeting order at 6:45 P.M. 2. Roll Call—All members of council were present. Ann Almond was absent from the Planning and Zoning. 3. Citizens to be Heard(limit of three minutes each)—There were no citizens to be heard. 4. Public Hearing A.Discussion on Re-Zoning for Mr.Robert Dean for the 17.42 acres of land situated in the B. Cannon Survey,Abstract No. 95, Guadalupe County,Texas,being out of a 228.5 acre tract as recorded in Volume 1258,Page 343 Official Public Records of Guadalupe County,Texas. Chuck Balcar stated that this property is already located in the city and is zoned R-1. Mr.Robert Dean is requesting R-3 zoning. Masterplan for Centex has already been approved. There was no discussion among council or planning and zoning. B.Discussion on the proposed Annexation and C-1 Commercial Zoning for Mr.Vivian for the 0.619 acres of land situated in the James Jones Survey,Abstract No. 194, Guadalupe County, Cibolo, Texas,and being out of Tract 3 of the Van Horn Land Subdivision. C.Discussion on the proposed Annexation and C-1 Commercial Zoning for Mr.Avila for the 0.619 acres of land situated in the James Jones Survey, Abstract No. 194,Guadalupe County, Cibolo, Texas,and being out of Tract 2 of the Van Horn Subdivision. Items 4B and 4C were discussed simultaneously. Chuck Balcar briefed that this property is located next to the city property and would be used as part of Cibolo Valley Drive. This property's is covered by a deed conveyance and it does not allow commercial building. Mr. Avila and Mr.Vivian are requesting C-1 Zoning. There was no discussion among council or planning and zoning. 5. Adjourmnent Councilman Campbell made the motion to adjourn at 6:55 P.M. Seconded by Councilwoman Epperson. For: All, Against: None.
