Min CC 04/23/2002 - Joint Public Hearing JOINT CITY COUNCIL AND PLANNING AND ZONING PUBLIC HEARING ON ANNEXATION AND ZONING z' CIBOLO MUNICIPAL BUILDING 109 S. MAIN April 23, 2002, 6:30 P.M. MINUTES 1. Call to Order-Mayor Ruppert called the public hearing to order at 6:31 P.M. 2. Roll Call-Councilwoman Cathy Duggar was absent from Council,all Planning and Zoning members were present 3. Citizens to be Heard(limit to three minutes each) Ken McDaniel-Stated that he had no problem with the annexation but did not want it to be zoned commercial. Stated that he came to the Planning and Zoning Meeting and gave them a copy of their deed restrictions. Hank Alves-Stated that he would like to see the deed restriction remain on the Miller tract and it not be zoned commercial. Chuck Balcar stated that the zoning does not effect the deed restriction. David Meditz-Made a comment that he was annexed to be protected by the city ordinances,and that those living in the county should not make grief about a parcel being zoned commercial. 4. Public Hearing A. Discussion on Annexation and Zoning for(Miller Tract),being 10.13 Acres situated in the James Jones Survey,Abstract No. 194,Guadalupe County, Cibolo Texas. Comments made during citizens to be heard,no other discussion. B. Discussion on Annexation and Zoning for(Schlather/Mueller Tracts),being 77.99 acres of land out of an original 82.380 acre tract as recorded in Volume 1117, page 70, deed records Guadalupe County, Texas and all 77.99 acres being in the James Jones Survey,Abstract No. 194, Guadalupe County, Cibolo, Texas. Comments made during citizens to be heard,no other discussion C. Discussion on Annexation and Zoning for(Johnston Tract)being 5.00 acres of land known as lot 10, of the Green Valley Estates Subdivision, of Guadalupe County,Texas, situated in the James Jones Survey,Abs.,No. 194, Guadalupe County, Cibolo, Texas. Comments made during citizens to be heard,no other discussion D. Discussion on Zoning for Springtree Subdivision being 87.15 acres of land in Guadalupe County Texas, out of a 92.371 acre tract of land recorded in Volume 999,Page 60,Deed Records of Guadalupe County, Texas. No discussion. E. Discussion on Zoning for David Meditz Property being 11.78 acres (513,137 square feet)of land out of 16.78 acre tract conveyed to Willie Krueger recorded in Volume 46,Page 383 of the Deed Records of Guadalupe County, Texas, said 16.78 acre tract being known as tract No. 6 of Krueger 100.65 acres situated in the Trinidad Garcia Survey, Abstract 137, Guadalupe County,Texas. No discussion. 5. Adjournment Councilman Glisar made the motion to adjourn at 6:40 P.M. Seconded by Councilman Campbell. For: All,Against: None.
