ORDINANCE NO. 1361
AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING A 0.6145-ACRE AND 0.2482-ACRE
TRACT OF LAND LOCATED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
CITY OF CIBOLO AS A PUBLIC STREET AND RIGHT OF WAY;NOT
DESIGNATING THE STREET NAME;PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE; AN OPEN MEETINGS CLAUSE; SETTING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE AND PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS.
WHEREAS, the regulation of traffic, motor vehicles and conveyances upon all public streets,
roadway and right-of-ways within the City limits of the City of Cibolo(the"City")is essential and
necessary to protect the traveling public and to preserve and protect the public safety of the City;
and
WHEREAS, owns a 0.2482-acre tract and a 0.6145-acre tract of land (the "City Property")
consisting of an approximately 65-foot wide strip of and land and a second parcel of variable
width;and
WHEREAS,the city engineer has reviewed the City Property and recommends that the property
be designated as a public street and right of way; and
WHERAS,the city council now finds that designating the property described in Section 1 below
as a public street and right of way is needed for public purposes and that such a designation would
be in the public interest of the City.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CIBOLO:
SECTION 1. DESIGNATION. The following property is hereby designated as a public street
and right of way:
Tract 1: Being a 0.2482-acre (10,812 square feet) parcel of land out of the
Jeronimo Leal Survey No.85,Abstract No.210,City of Cibolo,Guadalupe County,
Texas,said 0.2482-acre parcel also being all of Lot 10,Block 3,Green Valley Park,
Unit I,recorded in Volume 3,Page 28,Plat Records of Guadalupe County, Texas,
(all records cited herein are recorded in Guadalupe County, Texas), conveyed by
Warranty Deed from Daylin R. Walker to Tammy L. West, recorded in Document

Records (O.P.R.) of Guadalupe County, Texas, (all records cited herein are
recorded in Guadalupe County, Texas), dated September 19, 2011, said 0.6145-
acre tract being more particularly described by metes and bounds in the property
survey attached as EXHBIIT"B"
SECTION 2. STREET NAME. The public street designated in Section 1 shall be named at a
later date and as approved by City Council.
SECTION 3. RECITALS. The City Council finds the recitals contained in the preamble to this
ordinance are true and correct and incorporates them for all purposes.
SECTION 4. SEVERABILITY. If any provision of this Ordinance or the application of any
provision to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the invalidity shall not affect other
provisions or applications hereof which can be given effect without the invalid provision or
application, and to this end the provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. OPEN MEETINGS. That it is hereby officially found and determined that the
meeting at which this Ordinance is passed was open to the public as required and that public notice
of the time,place,and purpose of said meeting was given as a required by the Open Meetings Act,
Chapter 551,Local Government Code.
SECTION 6. EFFECTIVE DATE.This ordinance shall be effective from and after its approval
and passage in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code and the city charter.
