MINUTES
1. Call to Order—Mayor Hartman called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m.
2. Roll Call
Councilman Pedde—absent
Councilman Krasnai
Councilman Owens
Councilman Winn
Councilwoman Davis—absent
Councilman Hicks
Councilman Hetzel
3. Invocation—Councilman Owens gave the invocation
4. Pledge of Alle ig ance—The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Winn.
5. Citizens to be Heard—This is the opportunity for visitors and guests to address the City Council on any issue. City Council may
not discuss any non-agenda issue,nor may any action be taken on any non-agenda issue at this time
The following individuals spoke during citizens to be heard on opposition to the annexation:
Belinda Pustka, 1060 Elbel Rd and Robert Teweles,8908 Bent Brook Drive,Garden Ridge,TX.
6. Public Hearing
A. Conduct a public hearing regarding the proposed annexation of the properties described below:
A2007-002 — All properties located in the City of Cibolo's Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) generally located east of Cibolo
Valley Drive, south of the existing Willowbridge II and Springtree, Unit 5 subdivisions, and north of Green Valley Road
containing 64.27 acres.
Mayor Hartman opened the public hearing at 6:36 p.m.No citizens or council spoke and the hearing was closed at 6:37 p.m.
A2007-003—All properties located in the City of Cibolo's Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) generally located south of Schaefer
Road,east of Cibolo Creek,north of Lower Seguin Road,and west of Haeckerville Road containing 1,167.43 acres.
Public Hearing was opened by Mayor Hartman at 6:38 p.m. Mr.Houston C. Cross of N. Seguin Rd spoke in opposition of the
annexation. No other individual or council spoke and the Mayor closed the Public Hearing at 6:38.
B. Conduct a public hearing on the closure of Town Creek Road.
Mayor Hartman opened the Public Hearing at 6:38 p.m. The following individuals spoke on the closure of Town Creek Road.
James Fox, Jennifer Feutz, Donna Johnson, Debbie Fox, Clay Baldwin, Tom Feutz and Cindy Bass. Mayor Hartman closed the
Public Hearing at 6:58.
C. Conduct a public hearing on the rezoning 2.903 acres of land from Residential Single Family—Rural(R-U) to General Heavy
Commercial (C-2G). The tract is situated in the Geronimo Leal Survey No. 85, Abstract No. 210, Guadalupe County, Cibolo,
Texas, and is generally located on the south side of FM 78, east of Country Lane. Owner: Chance Brandt (dba JR Air
Conditioning)
Public Hearing was opened by Mayor Hartman at 6:59 p.m. No individuals or council spoke on the hearing and the Mayor closed
the Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m.
7. Adjournment
Councilman Hicks moved to adjourn the Public Hearings at 7:01 p.m. Motion was seconded by Councilman Winn. For:
Council Members: Krasnai,Owens,Winn,Hicks and Hetzel;Against:None. Motion carried 5 to 0.
