RES 1212 11/13/2001 RESOLUTION Resolution to set a date, time and place for a Joint City Council and Planning and Zoning Joint Hearing on the proposed Annexation R-3 Zoning of a said tract of land 76.728 Acre tract of land, being out of the Jacob De Cordova survey number 514, Abstract Number 117, in Guadalupe County, Texas, being know as a 78.79 acre tract of land, as conveyed by deed from William B. Wilson manufacturing company to IRC Joint Venture 35 North, dated December 23, 1982,and recorded in Volume 654, pages 715-718 of the deed records of Guadalupe County, Texas, also save except a 2.057 acre tract of land, known as parcel 4, as conveyed unto the Texas Department of Transportation in Volume 1132, page 658 of the deed records of Guadalupe County, Texas. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS. Section 1. That Joint two Public Hearings will be held to such discuss R-3 zoing,the first being on Tuesday, December 11, 2001 at 6:45 P.M. in the Cibolo City Hall; and the second being held on Tuesday, December 18,200 1,at 6:45 P.M. in the Cibolo City Hall, for the purpose of providing all interested persons the opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed R-3 Zoning of(76.728)acres of land by the City of Cibolo. Section 2. The description of the 76.728 acres of land which is proposed to beAnnexed and Zoned R-3 is as follows: BEGINNING: at an Texas Department of Transportation monument found in the southeast right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 35 and the northwest right-of-way of Weiderstein Road, being the northeast corner of said 76.728 acre tract of land as the point of beginning; THENCE: departing the southeast right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 35, along the northwest right-of-way line of Weiderstein road, as follow; 1. South 85 degrees 00 minutes 04 seconds east, for a distance of 61.28 feet to a Texas department of transportation monument found, being an angle point; 2. South 31 degrees, 13 minutes, 16 seconds east for a distance of 100.00 feet to a Texas Department of Transportation monument found, being an angle point; 3. South 57 degrees 09 seconds, 06 minutes east, for a distance of 55.60 feet to a Texas Department of Transportation monument found, being an angle point; 4. South 31 degrees 11 minutes, 03 seconds east, for a distance of 2678.47 feet,to a fence post, being the southeast corner of this 76.728 acre tract; THENCE: Along the south line of this 76.728 acre tract, being the common line of a 36.0 acre tract as recorded in volume 1484, page 815 of the deed records of Guadalupe County,Texas,as follows; I. South 59 degrees, 42 minutes, 07 seconds west, for a distance of 1194.20 feet to an iron pin found, being an angle point; 2. South 65 degrees, 45 minutes, 07 seconds west, for a distance of 5 0.10 feet to an iron pin of an, being an angle point; 3. North 84 degrees, 43 minutes, 53 seconds west, for a distance of 2.60 feet to an iron pin found, being the southwest corner of this 76.728 acre tract; THENCE: North 30 degrees, 36 minutes, 53 seconds west, along the west property line of this 76.728 acre tract, for a distance of 2561.76 feet to an iron pin found, being the northwest corner of this tract; THENCE: Along the southeast right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 35, being the northwest line of said 76.728 acre tract as follows; 1. North 46 degrees, 30 minutes, 42 seconds east, for a distance of 862.95 feet to a Texas Department of Transportation monument found, being an angle point; 2. North 41 degrees, 46 minutes, 20 seconds east, for a distance of 317.37 feet to the point of beginning and containing 76.728 acres (3.342.279 sq ft)of land. Said 163.16 acre tract, being more particularly described by meters and bound as follow: Section 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage and approval.
