A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF 3.221 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF THE GERONIMO LEAL
SURVEY NO. 85 IN GUADALUPE COUNTY,TEXAS,AS RECORDED IN THE
GUADALUPE COUNTY DEED RECORD BOOK 281
WHEREAS,a petition has been filed with the City of Cibolo,Texas,by Daniel B. Niemietz,Jr.,
requesting the annexation of 3.221 acres of land into the corporate limits of the City of Cibolo,Texas,
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO,TEXAS.
Section 1. That two Public Hearings will be held,the first being on Tuesday,May 28, 1996 at 6:30
P.M. in the Cibolo City Hall;and the second being held on June 4, 1996,at 6:30 P.M. in
the Cibolo City Hall,for the purpose of providing all interested persons the opportunity to be
heard concerning the proposed annexation of 3.221 acres of land by the City of Cibolo.
Section 2. The description of the 3.221 acres of land which is proposed to be annexed is as
follows:
Being 3.221 acres of land more or less out of the Geronimo Leal Survey No. 85, Abstract No.
210, Guadalupe County,Texas,out of that certain called 28.16 acre tract described in
Volume 281,Page 575 of the Deed of Records of Guadalupe County,Texas(hereinafter
referred to as the Parent Tract); Said 3.221 acre parcel being more particularly described as
follows:
BEGINNING at a 5/8 inch iron pipe found for the most southerly corner of the Parent
Tract,the most easterly corner of that certain called 22.0 acre tract described in feet to a
Volume 615,Page 243 of the Official Records of Guadalupe County,Texas and for the
most southerly corner and Point of Beginning of Beginning of this parcel;
THENCE with the common line of the Parent Tract and said 22.0 acre tract,N. 89 32' 36"
West,a distance of 492.86 feet to a 1/2 inch iron rod set for the most westerly corner of this
parcel;
THENCE into and across the Parent Tract,N. 60 00' 00"East,a distance of 243.26 feet to
a 1/2 inch iron rod set for an interior corner of this parcel and N. 29 56' 22" West,a
distance of 483.10 feet to a 1/2 inch iron rod set on the southeasterly right-of-way line of
F.M. 78 for the northwesterly corner of this parcel;
THENCE with said right-of-way line, S. 89 51' 19"East,a distance of 23.34 feet to a 1/2
inch iron rod set for the northeasterly corner of this parcel;
THENCE leaving said right-of-way line and across the Parent Tract, S. 29 56' 22"East,a
distance of 964.22 feet to a 1/2 inch iron rod set for the most easterly corner of this parcel,
being located in the common line of the Parent Tract and that certain called 52.2 acre tract
described in Volume 322,Page 366 of the Deed Records of Guadalupe County,Texas;
THENCE with the common line of the Parent Tract and said 52.2 acre tract, S. 60 00' 00"
West(basis of bearings),a distance of 266.86 feet to the Point of Beginning and containing
3.221 acres of land.
Section 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage and approval.
