RES 1256 09/09/2003 RESOLUTION , ~ _ (Ms. Wilma Honzell Rhew Rezoning 23.60 acres) Resolution is to set a date,time and place for a City Council and a Joint City Council and Planning and Zoning Hearing on the proposed rezoning from R-1 and C-1 to R-3 Zoning of a said tract of land being of 23.60 acre tract of land,situated in Guadalupe County,Texas, and out of the Jeronimo Leal Survey No. 85, Abstract No. 210,and being out of a tract of land described as 41.0 acres and recorded in Volume 700, Page 981 of the Deed Records of Guadalupe County,Texas NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS. Section 1. That two Public Hearings will be held to such discuss rezoning,the first being on Tuesday, September 23,2003 at 6:45 P.M. in the Cibolo City Hall with Cibolo City Council; and the second being a joint public hearing with City Council and Planning and Zoning on Tuesday, October 14,2003,at 6:30 P.M. in the Cibolo City Hall, for the purpose of providing all interested persons the opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed rezoning from R-1 and C-1 to R-3 Zoning of 23.60 acres of land by the City of Cibolo. Section 2. The description of the 23.60 acres of land which is proposed to be rezoned R-3 is as follows: BEGINNING at all/z"rebar found for the northwest corner of a 2.5 acre tract described in Volume 1516, Page 831 of the Deed Records of Guadalupe County,Texas and lying on the south right- of-way line of FM 1103; THENCE S 30.08'35"E along the southwest line of the said 2.5 acre tract for a distance of 575.09 feet to a'/z"rebar found for the south corner of said 2.5 acre tract, same being a re-entrant corner of this description; THENCE N 59.51'48"E with southeast line of the 2.5 acre tract for a distance if 264.70 to point on the southwest line of a 7.319 acre tract described in the deed recorded in Volume 840, Page 235 of the Deed Records of Guadalupe County, a found 1/2"rebar bears N 59.51'48" E-0.19 feet; THENCE S 30.08'46"E with the southwest line of said 7.319 acres for a distance of 1019.46 feet, to a 1/z"rebar found at the southwest corner of said tract, on the northwest line of the remainder of a 310.989 acre tract described in the deed recorded in Volume 1302,Page 593 of the Deed Records of Guadalupe County,Texas, same being the easternmost corner or this description; THENCE S. 59.40'45 W,with said line of the remainder, same being the southeast line of the first mentioned 41.0 acre tract,for a distance of 950.00 feet to a 1/2"rebar with Denham- Ramones plastic cap set for the southernmost corner of this description; THENCE through the interior of the 41.0 acre tract for the following calls: N 30.08'46 W a distance of 630.78 feet to a set 1/2"rebar with a Denham-Ramones Plastic cap; N 04-12'16 W a distance of 232.67 feet to a set 1/s"rebar with a Denham-Ramones Plastic cap; N 28.33'22 E a distance of 307.01 feet to a set 1/2"rebar with a Denham-Ramones Plastic cap; N 05.06'01 E a distance of 13 0.3 0 feet to a set 1/2"rebar with a Denham-Ramones Plastic cap; N 59.51'25 E a distance of 75.99 feet to a set 1/2"rebar with a Denham-Ramones Plastic cap; N 3008'35 W a distance of 318.26 feet to a set 1/2"rebar with a Denham-Ramones Plastic cap; N 41-53'15 W a distance of 122.82 feet to a set %"rebar with a Denham—Ramones Plastic cap; S 60-25'l 0 W a distance of 85.25 feet to a set 1/2" rebar with a Denham—Ramones Plastic Cap; N 30.08'35 W a distance of 55.00 feet to a set%z°'rebar with a Denham—Ramones Plastic cap on the south right of way line FM 1103; THENCE N 60-25'10 E with the south of way line of FM 1103 for a distance of 280.26 feet to the POINT of BEGINNING, and containing 23.60 acres of land,more or less.
