MINUTES
1. Call to Order— Meeting was called to order by Mayor Boyle at 6:33 p.m.
2. Roll Call —Council Present: Mayor Boyle, Councilwoman Schultes, Councilman Garrett, Councilman Byrd,
Councilman Gibbs, Councilman Russell and Councilman Hicks; Staff Present: City Manager Mr. Herrera, City
Secretary Ms. Cimics and IT Director Mr. McDaniel.
3. Certification/Canvassing of the November 6, 2018 Election
City Secretary Cimics read the Election Summary Report for the November 6, 2018 City of Cibolo General and Special
Elections. Report was read for the Early Voting — Official Results, Election Day — Official Results and the Early
Voting and Election Day Combined — Official Results.
4. Resolution
A. Approval/Disapproval of a Resolution of the City of Cibolo canvassing the returns and declaring the results of a
bond election.
Councilman Hicks made the motion to approve the Resolution of the City of Cibolo canvassing the returns and
declaring the results of a bond election. Motion was seconded by Councilman Byrd. For: All; Against: None.
Motion carried 6 to 0.
B. Approval/Disapproval of a Resolution of the City of Cibolo canvassing the returns and declaring the results of a
general election to elect Council Members for Districts 1,4,5 and 6, a sales and use tax election, and a charter
amendment election.
Councilman Hicks made the motion to approve the a Resolution of the City of Cibolo canvassing the returns and
declaring the results of a general election to elect Council Members for Districts 1,4,5 and 6, a sales and use tax
election, and a charter amendment election. Motion was seconded by Councilman Byrd. For: All; Against: None.
Motion carried 6 to 0.
5. Ceremonial
A. Oath of Office for Councilwoman Schultes, Councilman Gibbs, Councilman Allen and Councilman Woliver
The Oath was Office was given to Councilwoman Schultes, Councilman Gibbs, Councilman Allen and
Councilman Woliver by City Secretary Cimics. Newly elected Councilmembers Allen and Woliver took their seat
at the dais.
6. Adlournment
Councilman Woliver made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:05 pm. Motion was seconded by Councilman Allen.
For: All; Against: None. Motion carried 7 to 0.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 1 ITH DAY OF DECEMBER 2018.
