Minutes
1. Call to Order—Special Council Meeting was called to order by Mayor Dunn at 5:34 pm.
2. Roll Call and Excused Absences — Council Present: Mayor Dunn, Councilwoman Schultes, Councilman Byrd,
Councilman, Councilman Gibbs, Councilman, Russell, Councilman Hogue and Councilman Weber; Absent:
Councilman Garrett. Councilman Hogue made the motion to excuse the absence of Councilman Garrett. Motion
was seconded by Councilman Gibbs. For"All; Against:None. Motion carried 6 to 0.
3. Executive Session
The City Council will meet in Executive Session as authorized by the Texas Gov't Code Section
551.071 Consultation with Attorney to receive briefings and legal advice from the City's legal counsel on:
A. The case styled"Green Valley Special Utility District v City of Cibolo"(Case No. 1:16-cv-00627-SS); and,
B. An application filed with the Texas Public Utility Commission for single certification for wastewater service
within the City limits.
Council convened into Executive Session at 5:35 pm. Councilman Garrett arrived at 5:13 pm.
4. Open Session
Reconvene into Regular Session and take/or give direction, if necessary, on items discussed in Executive Session.
Council reconvened into Regular Session at 6:37 pm. No action was taken.
5. Adjournment—Councilman Garrett made the motion to adjourn the Special Meeting at 6:37 pm.Motion was
seconded by Councilman Weber.For: All;Against:None. Motion carried 7 to 0.
PASSED ND APPROVED THIS 12TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 2017.
