RESOLUTION 1397
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE CHECK SIGNING AUTHORIZATION POLICY
WHEREAS, the City must establish a policy that identifies individuals who are authorized to sign checks
on behalf of the City of Cibolo; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this resolution is to establish the City of Cibolo Check Signing Authorization
Policy.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cibolo,Texas as follows:
The individuals holding the following positions are authorized to sign checks on behalf of
the City of Cibolo,Texas:
• Mayor
• Mayor Pro Tem
• City Manager
• City Secretary
• Director of Community and Development Services
• Fire Chief
• Police Chief
All checks up to$15,000 shall bear two original signatures of the individuals named above.
All checks$15,000 and over shall bear three original signatures of the individuals named
above.
A copy of this policy shall be forwarded to the City designated depository.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 12th day of January, 2010.
