RESOLUTION # 3�---
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS
APPLYING FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASING
PROGRAM OF THE TEXAS COMPTROLLER OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTS
PURSUANT TO §271.081 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE.
WHEREAS, the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts is authorized to provide purchasing
services for local governments pursuant to §271.082 and 271.083 of the Local Government
Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cibolo is a Municipality defined as an entity qualified
to participate in the Cooperative Purchasing Program of the Texas Comptroller of Public
Accounts pursuant to §271.081 of the Local Government Code; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of 34 TAC §20.85 administrative rules, the
Agents of Record, Robert T. Herrera, City Manager and Anna Miranda, Finance Director are
authorized to execute any and all documentation for the City of Cibolo pertaining to its
participation in the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Cooperative Purchasing Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Cibolo acknowledges its obligation to pay participation fees established
by the State Comptroller of Public Accounts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that request be made to the Texas Comptroller of
Public Accounts to approve City of Cibolo for participation in the Texas Comptroller of Public
Accounts Cooperative Purchasing Program.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED ON THIS 22nd DAY OF MARCH 2016 BY THE CITY OF
CIBOLO.
