ORDINANCE NO. 139
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS, EXTENDING ITS EXTRATERRITORIAL
JURISDICT ION:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOIO, TEXAS:
WHEREAS the City of Cibolo has received a written request from
BENJAMIN E. SCHNEIDER
owners of property contiguous to the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the
City of Cibolo (a copy of which request is hereby attached and marked Exhibit
"A" and made a part hereof as if the same were fully set out herein) ; and
WHEREAS it is in the best interest of the City of Cibolo to include the
property described in attached Exhibit "A" in the extraterritorial jurisdiction
of the City of Cibolo, Texas;
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the property described in attached Exhibit
"A" be included in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Cibolo,
Texas, and that the same rights and obligations applicable to all existing
property with the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Cibolo apply
from this date on to the described property in attached Exhibit "A".

Request To Be Included In The Extraterritorial
Jurisdiction Of The City Of Cibolo, Texas
We, the undersigned, are the owners of that certain tract of
land which is contiguous to the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the
City of Cibolo, Texas, and which is described in Exhibit "A" a copy
of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if the same were
fully set out herein.
We request that the property described in Exhibit "A" be included
within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Cibolo, Texas,
and that the City of Cibolo, Texas, extend its extraterritorial jurisdiction
for all purposes over the property described in Exhibit "A" as provided
in Art. 970A of the Revised Civil Statutes of the State of Texas.
To the best of our knowledge and belief the property described in
Exhibit "A" is not now within the extraterritorial Jurisdiction of any
other City of the State of Texas.

EXHIBIT "A"
First Tract: That property conveyed by Wm. L. Werner et UK to Oscar Grobe
by deed dated January 8, 1920 and recorded in Guadalupe County Deed Record
Volume 58 on pages ) .3-4, and
BEGINNING at a stake in middle of county road for north corner of this tract,
it being the east corner of a 102 acre tract owned by Carl Schuenemann, said
tract being south 30 degrees east 257 varas from the east corner of Survey
No . 65, Wm. Bracken Survey, from which a mesquite 1)4 inches in diameter bears
north 85 degrees west 16-1/2 varas;
THENCE with said road south 30 degrees east 260 varas to a stake for east
corner of this survey;
THENCE south 60 degrees west 2358-8/10 varas to a stake in the middle bed of
Cibolo River from southwest corner of this survey;
THENCE north 17-1/4 degrees west up the Cibolo River in the bed, 266h varas
to the southwest corner of Carl Schuenemann's tract of land;
THENCE with the Schuenemann's southeast line north 60 degrees east 2300 varas
to the place of beginning, containing 107-1/3 acres of land, less, however, and
except, that one acre of land sold and conveyed by John and George Borgfeld
to the Cibolo Valley Casino Association by deed recorded in Guadalupe County
Deed Records Volume N. on page 209, this first tract containing 106-1/3 acres
of land, and being the same conveyed by Oscar Grobe and wife, Lillie Grobe, to
Albert Otto Mueller by deed dated January 2, 192) and recorded in Guadalupe
County Deed Record Volume 75 on pages 98-9.
Second Tract: Being a part of what was known as the Valley Farm originally
granted to William Bracken;
BEGINNING at a stake set out 100 yards north of Geo . 1Bergfeld's residence;
THENCE north 12 degrees west 80 varas to a stake;
THENCE south 78 degrees west 70-6/10 varas to a stake from which a pecan 14
inches in deameter bears north 80 degrees west 11 -5/10 varas and a pecan 30
inches in diameter bears south 16 degrees east 17 varas;
THENCE south 12 degrees east 80 varas;
THENCE north 78 degrees east 70-6/10 varas to the place of beginning, and also
a road 30 feet wide beginning at southeast corner of above described land and
running to the public highway from San Antonio to Seguin, this second tract
being the same conveyed by Gertrude Schoeninger and Minnie B. Hough to Albert
Mueller by deed dated December 7, 1932 and recorded in Guadalupe County Deed
Record Volume 115 on pages 485-6, and Volume 58 page 26.
Each and all of the hereinabove or hereinafter mentioned or referred to instru-
ments or plats and their records where and when recorded, are hereby expressly
incorporated herein and made a part hereof for descriptive purposes .
