MINUTES 1. Call to Order—Mayor Hartman called the meeting to order at 5:10 p.m. 2. Roll Call—Council Present: Mayor Hartman, Councilwoman Hale, Councilman Carlton, Councilman Liparoto and Councilman Hicks; Council Absent: Councilman Pedde, Councilman Troncoso and Councilman Castro; Staff Present: City Manager Herrera, City Secretary Cimics, Finance Director Anna Marquez, ED Director Luft,Public Works Director Fousse, Fire Chief Niemietz, Police Chief Cox and Comm. Dev. Services Director Stricken 3. Discussion and direction to staff regarding the FY 2013-14 Budget to include city services,priorities, goals and capital improvements. Council and staff went over the FY 2013-14 Budget to include city services,priorities, goals and capital improvements. Council wanted to see where the City was on the current budget. Ms. Marquez stated she was working on the Revenue and Expense Report ending April 2013 and those figures would be available in the council packet for the May 28th meeting. Ms. Marquez went over the budget calendar with council and no changes or additions were added at this time. 4. Discussion and direction to staff on possible bond projects for the November elections. Mr. Herrera briefed council on a proposed bond election for November 2013. The General Obligation Bond projects included several projects from the Capital Improvement List included on that list were Main Street/FM 1103 improvements, Borgfeld/Dietz Road Intersection, upgrade to Fire Station#1, Green Valley Road West,possible Fire Station with pumper&brush truck, Old Town/Loop 539 and drainage and public corridors/walking, bike,jogging trails. Potential Issuance of Revenue Bonds were also discussed with project of water acquisition, extending sewer service South of FM78 and extending south sewer main to IH-10. The City's Bond Council gave council a briefing on the numbers for the possible bond. There was no decision made at this meeting and no action taken at this time. 5. Adj ournment Councilman Carlton moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:15 p.m. Motion seconded by Councilwoman Hale. For: All;Against: None. Motion carried.
