ORDINANCE NO. 95
AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO BUBLISH•NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS:
Section 1 . On the 10th day of June, 1974 at 6:00 o'clock in the
City Hall of the City of Cibolo, Texas the Council will hold a public #_
hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard
on the proposed annexation by the City of Cibolo, Texas of the following
described property, to wit:
Description of a 76.649 acre tract of land, more or less, being 0.919
of an acre of land, more or less, oftof the J. N. Richardson Survey- No.
102, and 75.83 acres of land out of the James W. Gray Survey No . 255,
Guadalupe County, Texas, and being One, a 0.919 of an acre tract of land
lying within the ROW of F.M. Road 1103, and being 75.83 acres of land
out of that certain 100.0 acre tract of land conveyed by Karl Orth, et
ux, to Oscar Orth, by deed dated July 24, 19) 3 and recorded in
Volume 201 on page 13 of the Deed Records of Guadalupe County, Texas,
and described more particularly by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a corner post in the Southwest line of F?M. Road 1103,
set for the North corner of that certain 100.0 acre tract of land
conveyed to W?E. Dean, Trustee, by deed dated October 15, 1958 and
recorded in Volume 319 on page 612 of the Deed Records of Guadalupe
County, Texas, for the North corner of a 5.343 acre tract of land
annexed by the City of Cibolo, Texas, for a West corner of the herein
described 76.749 acre tract;
THENCE N. 60 degrees 00' E. 80.0 feet to a point in the Northeast line
of F.M. Road 1103, the Southwest line of the above described Oscar Orth
100.0 acre tract of land, a re-entrant corner of this tract;
THENCE with the Northeast line of F.M. Road 1103 N. 30 degrees 00'
W. 2,250.0 feet to a point, a West corner of this tract;
THENCE N. 60 degrees 00' E. 1 ,115.3 feet to a point in the Northeast
line of the said Oscar Orth 100.0 acre tract, the North corner of this
tract;
THENCE with the fence, the Northeast line of the said Oscar Orth 100.0
acre tract, S. 30 degrees 00' E. 501 .7 feet to a corner post set for
the East corner of the said Oscar Orth 100.0 acre tract for the East
corner of this tract;
THENCE with the fence, the Southeast line of the said Oscar Orth 100.0
acre tract, S. 39 degrees 05' W. 133.3 feet, S. 60 degrees 40' W. 83.3
feet, and S. 60 degrees 00' W. 1 ,115.3 feet to a corner post in the
Northeast line of F.M. Road 1103, the South corner of the said Oscar Orth
100.0 acre tract, a South corner of this tract;

THENCE with the Northeast line of F.M. Road 1103, N. 30 degrees 00'
W. 163.0 feet to a point, a re-entrant corner of this tract;
THENCE crossing F.M. Road 1103, S. 60 degrees 00' W. 80.0 feet to a
point, the East corner of the afore said 5.343 acre tract of land, a
South corner of this tract;
THENCE with the Northeast line of the said 5.343 acre tract, the South-
west line of F.M. Road 1103, N. 29 degrees 40' W. 500.0 feet to the
place of beginning.
Section 2 . The Mayor of the City of Cibolo is hereby authorized and
directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be published once in a
newspaper having general circulation in the city and in the above described
territory not more than twenty days nor less than ten days prior to the
date of such public hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation
Act (Chapter 160, Acts of the 58th Legislature, Regular Session, 1963;
compiled as 970a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes .)
Section 3. The importance of this ordinance creates an emergency and
an imperative public necessity that the rule requiring ordinances to be
read at three several meetings be suspended, and this rule is hereby
suspended, and the ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its adoption.
