ORD 11A 07/19/1967 1104, IP r ip , , oRv. 44 i 1 II- CITY OF CIBOLO Guadalupe County Cibolo, Texas CITY ORDINANCE: PROHIBITING THE KEEPING OF ABANDONED, WRECKED OR JUNKED VEHICLES ON PRIVATE PROPERTY FOR A PERIOD OF TIME IN EXCESS OF THIRTY (30) DAYS; AND PROVIDING A FINE NOT TO EXCEED $ 200.00 FOR VIOLATIONS: i t-N-X- n XiE-X;t-XX X-ICX-' :X X;-,* WHEREAS, THERE are or may in the future be dismantled, partially dismantled, wrecked, junked, non—operating or discarded vehicles left parked or stored on private property within the City; and WHEREAS, such conditions tend to interfere with the enjoyment and reduce the value of public and private property; invite plundering; create fire hazards and other safety and health hazards to children as well as adults; interfere with the comfort and well—being of the public and create, extend and aggravate urban blight; and WHEREAS, ADEQUATE protection of the public health, safety and welfare requires that such conditions be regulated, abated or prohibited; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO, CIBOLO, TEXAS SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful to park, store or leave, ar to permit the parking, storing or leaving of any licensed or unlicensed motor vehicle of any kind or part(s) thereof, which is in a rusted, wrecked, junked, partially dismantled, inoperative or abandoned condition, whether attended or not, upon any private property within the city limits of the -- City of Cibolo, Cibolo, Texas for a period of time in excess of thirty (30) days unless such vehicles or (part) ts thereof is completely enclosed within a building. " SECTION 2. The accumulation and storage of one or more of such vehicles or part(s) thereof as defined above, on private property shall constitute a nuisance, detrimental to the health, safety and welfare off the inhabitants of the City of Cibolo, Cibolo, Texas, and it shall be the duty of the owner of such vehicle or part(s) thereof and/or shall also be the duty of the owner" of the private property, or lessee or other person in possession of private property upon which such vehicle or part(s) is located, to remove the same from such property or to have the same housed in a building where it will not be visible from the street or other private property. SECTION 3. PENALTY, Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and each shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each day or portion thereof during which any violation hereof is committed, and continued or permitted, an/d _ pon - conviction any such violation shall be,pgnable by a fine not o xceed $200.00 PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 19th day of July 1967. /L6( ..r4.01,-,z9-2-4ti __ M. 0.
