All . • ORDINANCE NO. / / AN ORDINANCE LEVYING AN AD VALOREM TAX FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS, ALL SAID TAXES BEING LEVIED FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1966 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1966; AND AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY TAX ASSESSOR AND COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR OF GUADALUPE COUNTY, TEXAS TO ACT AS TAX ASSESSOR AND TAX COLLECTOR RESPECTIVELY FOR THE CITY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS: 1. That there is hereby levied for general purposes for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1966 and ending December 31, 1966 on all real, personal and mixed property held, owned or situated in the City of Cibolo, Texas, which is not exempt by the Constitu- tion or general laws of the State of Texas and ad valorem tax. 2. The tax rate for such fiscal year is hereby fixed at the rate of 7_5--c - on every One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of the assessed valuation of said property. 3. That as provided by Article 7359 of the Revised Civil Statutes of the State of Texas, 1925, the County Tax Assessor and County Tax Collector of Guadalupe County, Texas, in which County the City is located, is hereby authorized to act as tax assessor and tax collector respectively for the City of Cibolo. 4. That property in the City of Cibolo shall be assessed at the same value as it is assessed for County and State purposes, and said assessor shall assess the taxes for the City and perform the duties of tax assessor for the City according to the ordinances of the City and according to law; and said collector shall collect the taxes and assessments for the City of Cibolo and turn over as soonas collected to the City Depository or other authority authorized to receive such taxes or assessments, all taxes or money so collected and shall perform the duties of tax collector of the City according to the ordinances thereof and according to law, deducting from the taxes so collected his fees as provided in Article 7359 aforesaid or by other applicable statutes.
