MINUTES
1. Call to Order—Special Meeting was called to order by Mayor Jackson at 6:30 pm.
2. Roll Call—Council Present: Mayor Jackson, Councilwoman Schultes, Councilman Garrett, Councilman Hogue,
Councilman Russell and Councilman Dunn; Council Absent: Councilman Doty and Councilman Castro; Staff
Present: City Manager Herrera and City Secretary Cimics.
3. Invocation—Councilman Russell gave the invocation.
4. Pledge of Allegiance—All present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
5. Discussion/Action on City Council accepting the resignation letter from Councilman Gabriel Castro,District 3.
Councilman Garrett made the motion to accept the resignation letter from Councilman Castro,District 3. Motion
was seconded by Councilman Dunn. For: Council Members: Schultes, Garrett, Russell, Hogue and Dunn;
Against:None. Motion carried 5 to 0.
6. Discussion/Action and direction to staff on City Council's procedure for filling the vacancy of City Council,
District 3.
Council gave direction for staff to post vacancy on City Web Site to accept applications until the close of business
on July 6, 2015. City Council set a Special Meeting date for July 9, 2015 at 6:30 pm to interview candidates that
had applied for the District 3 position. Council agreed if any applications were received before the Council
Meeting scheduled for June 23rd Council would interview those applicants that evening.
7. Discussion/Action authorizing the City Manager to forward a letter from Cibolo Mayor and City Council to
Green Valley Special Utility District Board of Directors regarding the Board's prior commitment to transfer water
certificate of convenience and necessity territory and customers in the Turning Stone Development.
Councilman Dunn made the motion to authorizing the City Manager to forward a letter from Cibolo Mayor and

Development. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Schultes. For: Council Members: Garrett, Hogue,
Russell, Schultes and Dunn;Against:None. Motion carried 5 to 0.

8. Adjournment.
Councilman Dunn made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:43 p. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman
Schultes. For: All;Against:None. Motion carried 5 to 0
