MINUTES
1. Call to Order—Mayor Jackson opened the Budget Workshop at 5:05 pm. Council Present: Mayor Jackson,
Councilwoman Schultes, Councilman Garrett(arrived at 5:41 pm),Councilwoman Camp-Gebhardt,Councilman Doty,
Councilman Russell and Councilman Hogue; Staff Present: City Manager Herrera,City Secretary Cimics,Finance Director
Miranda,Planning&Engineering Director Klein,ED Director Luft,Police Chief Cox,Fire Chief Niemietz,Public Works
Director Fousse,IT Director Buda,HR Manager Hetzel and Executive Asst Rogers.
2. Discussion and direction to staff regarding the FY 2015-2016 Budget to include city services,priorities and capital
improvements.
Council continued to address the General Fund Departments. The IT Department,Finance Department,Non-departmental, --
Police,Fire,Animal Control and Human Resource Budget were all discussed. Ms.Hetzel the HR Manager went over the
Compensation Proposal for FY 2015-2016. Mr.Herrera and Ms Miranda went over the Tax Rate to include the proposed tax
rate, effective rate and rollback rate. Public Hearing dates were announced which will be on August 25`}'and September 1,
2015.
3. Adjournment—Mayor Jackson adjourned the Budget Workshop at 6:20 pm.
