AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ZONING CLASSIFICATION FOR A
5.554 ACRE TRACT OF LAND OWNED BY BLANTON DEVELOPMENT
COMPANY TO BE RE-ZONED FROM COMMERCIAL LIGHT (C-1) TO
RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY MEDIUM DENSITY(R-2B).
NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CIBOLO, TEXAS:
SECTION I.
Whereas two public hearings were held to discuss such rezoning, the first being on
Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the Cibolo City Hall; and, the second being on
Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Cibolo City Hall, for the purpose of providing all
interested persons the opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed rezoning 5.554 acres
from C-1 to R-2B by the City of Cibolo.
SECTION II.
And whereas the description of the 5.554 acres of land which is to be rezoned to R-2B is
described in Exhibit "A" (metes and bounds) and Exhibit "B" (survey exhibit), attached hereto
and made part of this ordinance.
SECTION III.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage.

All that certain tract or parcel of land situated in Guadalupe County, Texas out of the Trinidad
Garcia Survey No. 94, Abstract No. 137, and the Mathias Lindenburg Survey, Abstract No.215
and the A.S. Lewis Survey No. 78, Abstract No. 216, Guadalupe County, Texas and being a
portion of the remainder of that tract described in a Deed granted to Lewis C Borgfeld, et ux,
dated March 31, 1968, and recorded in Volume 409, Page 436, Deed Records of Guadalupe
County,Texas and further described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a calculated point in the north margin of Borgfeld Road and in the occupied south
line of said Borgfeld tract for the southwest corner of this tract,from which a 1/2" iron rod found
for the occupied southwest corner of said Borgfeld tract bears S 41°39°14"W 1000.00 feet;
THENCE, N 68°40'23"W 426.56 feet over and across said Borgfeld tract with the west line of
this tract to a calculated point for the northwest corner of this tract;
THENCE, continuing over and across said Borgfeld tract with the north line of this tract in the
following two(2)courses:
1 N 41°39'14"E 886.80 feet to a calculated point;
2. N 59°09'19"E 79.79 feet to a calculated point for the northeast corner of this tract;
THENCE, continuing over and across said Borgfeld tract with the east line of this tract in the
following two(2)courses:
1 S 31°05'31"W 331.64 feet to a calculated point
2. S 48°20'46"E 315.21 feet to a calculated point in the north margin of Borgfeld Road
and in the occupied south line of said Borgfeld tract for the southeast corner of this
tract;
THENCE,S 41°39'14"W 488.70 feet along the north margin of Borgfeld Road and with the south
occupied line of said Borgfeld tract and this tract to the point of Beginning and containing 5.554
acres(241,935 sq.ft.)of land within this metes and bounds description.
