The City Council Of the City of Cibolo, Texas met in regular
session on the 20th of November, 1968, at 7 :30 p.m. , in the
meeting room of the Cibolo Fire Station.
With the absence of Mayor Grooms Mr. Ted Dykes presided over
the meeting with all councilmen being present.
Mr. Alwin Lieck made motion to appoint Ted Dykes as permanent
Mayor Pro-Tem and to preside over all meetings in the absence
of the Mayor. The motion was seconded by Mr. Fred Niemietz
with all douncilmen voting in favor of the motion.
Minutes of the previous meeting, held on the 16th of October,
1968, were readdland approved. A report of the financial
condition of the City was rendered by the Secretary.
Business attended to:
After some discussion the Council decided to go ahead with
a general street paving program planned for early spring.
Fritz Schlather was instructed to talk to at least three
contractors and secure proposed bids from them.
Mr. Lieck opened discussion on a tax increase for the City
and it was the opinion of all councilmen's that an increase
was necessary for the city's operation. No action was taken
on the matter, but it was deemed that some action should be
taken in the next few months .

be clarafied with Mayor Grooms and the City Attorney at our
next regular meeting.
There being no further business, the same was upon motion
made, adjourned.
