CITY OF CIBOLO
CITY COUNCIL MEETING-' JUNE 16, 1971

The meeting was called to order at 7:45 P.M. Wed-
nesday, June 16, 1971.
Minutes of both meetings were approved as read.
The financial report was read and accepted.
The Parks and Recreation Dept. has a tournament
planned for June 27, 1971. The trophies have been
donated. Some reorganization is planned in the
Parks Dept . The balance is approximately 01000.00. > , �
Mr. N-ie=17� will experiment with painting of
existing street signs. The area will be canvassed
next month for the street signs reciuired.
The City Council agreed to hold off a month on having
our lawyer draw up a weed and trash ordinance to
check on existing ordinances . The Council agreed
to have the month of April as cleanup and fix up
month each year.
There was nothing new to report on the sewer system.
Our fire insurance rating was reported on. Cibolo is
unrated now. The fire insurance board is to be in
Cibolo in 3 to, 4 weeks . The 'nater Board apparently
has no maps of the water system. This is to be
investigated further this next month.
The Master Plan being prepared was discussed.
Speedy progress is expected by the planners.

Mr. Dylla moved and Mr. Niemietz seconded, that
David Kierum be granted a two (2) year temporary
permit to park a mobile home on the lot west of
Marvin Kierum' s home. The motion passed.
The Council discussed expansion of our city limits
tiwith 'rVD definite decisions made .
A five year budget discussion was postponed until
the next meeting.
Mr. Lieck made a motion to raise taxes from $1.00
to 441.25 to pay off time wattants. The motion was
seconded by Mr. Ling. Motion passed unanimously.
Mr. Lieck moved for adjournment. Mr. Dykes sec-
onded the motion. Meeting adjourned at 9: 15 P.M.
