Min CC 06/06/1974 CITY OF CIBOLO CITY COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 6, 1974 The regular city council meeting was called to order at 7:00 P. M. by Mayor Schlather with all members present except Alderman Ted Dykes. The invocation was given by Edward Ling. The minutes of the last regular meeting and the intervening special meetings were read and approved as read. Mr. Tomy Meek attended the meeting and briefed the Council on numerous facets of the Water Works operation. Mr. Ackermann is to train under Mr. Meek. Mr. Meek accepted the offer of employment as outlined in the previous regular minutes. Linda was requested to contact Randolph AFB concerning the warning light outage on the water tower. Mayor Schlather introduced a proposed ordinance, which was read in full . Alderman Marge Smith made a motion that any rule requiring ordinances to be read at more than one meeting be suspended. The motion was seconded by Alderman Edward Ling and carried by the following vote: AYES: Aldermen Ling, Lieck, Niemietz, and Smith. NOES: None Alderman Fred Niemietz made a motion that said ordinance be finally passed and adopted. The motion was seconded by Alderman Lieck and carried by the following vote: AYES: Aldermen Ling, Lieck, Niemietz, and Smith. NOES: None. The Mayor announced that the ordinance had been finally passed and adopted. (The Ordinance Accepting Provisions of Title 28, Texas Revised Civil Statutes of 1925, as Amended, Relating to Cities and Towns) ,( _Ordinance #110) Mayor Schlather introduced a proposed ordinance, which was read in full , Alderman Mrs, Lieck mad a motion that any rule requiring ordinances to be read at more than one meeting be suspended. The motion was seconded by Alderman Marge Smith. The motion carried by the following vote: AYES: Aldermen Ling, Lieck, Niemietz, and Smith. NOES: None. Alderman Fred Niemietz made a motion that said ordinance be finally passed and adopted. The motion was seconded by Alderman Edward Ling and carried by the following vote: AYES: Aldermen Ling, Lieck, Niemietz, and Smith. NOES: None. The Mayor announced that the ordinance had been finally passed and adopted. (Ordinance No. 111 ) A motion was made by Fred Niemietz (Edward Ling) and passed unanimously to pass Ordinance No. 112 extending the ETJ of the City of Cibolo to in- clude a 61 - 3/4 acre tract and a 79.86 acre tract of land belonging to Mrs . Edna Koehler. A motion was made by Mrs . Lieck (Matge Smith) and passed unanimously to pass Ordinance No . 113 extending the ETJ of the City of Cibolo to include 103 acre tract belonging to Elwood H. Schubert, Melba S. Vroman, Myrtle S. Schlueter, and Janet S. Skinner. A motion was made by Marge Smith (Edward Ling) and passed unanimously to pass Ordinance No . 114 extending the ETJ of the City of Cibolo to include 15.844 acre tract belonging to Harvy G. Maahs . A motion was made by Fred Niemietz (Mrs . Lieck) and passed unanimously to pass Ordinance No . 115 extending the ETJ of the City of Cibolo to include a 23.664 acre tract of land belonging to Harvey G. Maahs. A motion was made by Marge Smith (Edward Ling) and passed unanimously to pass Ordinance No-. 116 extending the ETJ of the City of Cibolo to include a 25 acre tract of-'land belonging to Harvey G. Maahs . A motion was made by Edward Ling (Marge Smith) and passed unanimously to pass Ordinance No . 117 extending the ETJ of the City of Cibolo to include a 37.518 acre tract of land belonging to Edgar Bindseil. A motion was made by Mrs. Lieck (Edward Ling) and passed unanimously to pass Ordinance N. 118 extending the ETJ of the City of Cibolo to include a 78.58 acre tract of-iland belonging to Herbert W.D. Krause, Jr. A motion was made by Mrs. Lieck (Marge Smith) and passed unanimously to pass Ordinance No . 119 extending the ETJ of the City of Cibolo to include a 66 acre tract of land belonging to Mrs . Alfred Schraub. A motion was made by Edward Ling (Fred Niemietz) and passed unanimously to pass Ordinance No'. 120 extending the ETJ of the City of Cibolo to include a 62 .23 acre tract of land belonging to Mrs . Alfred Schraub. A motion was made by Fred Niemietz (Marge Smith) and passed unanimously to pass Ordinance No . 121 extending the ETJ of the City of Cibolo to include a 7 .69 acre tract of land belonging to Mrs. Alfred Schraub. ` A motion was made by Marge Smith (Mrs . Lieck) and passed unanimously to pass Ordinance No. 122 extending the ETJ of the City of Cibolo to include a 70.11 acre tract of land belonging to Mrs . Alfred Schraub. A motion was made by Mrs . Lieck (Edward Ling) and passed unanimously to pass Ordinance No . 123 extending the ETJ of the City of Cibolo to include a 100 acre tract of land belonging to Eddie A. Wagner. A motion was made by Marge Smith (Mrs . Lieck) and passed unanimously to pass Ordinance No . 124 extending the ETJ of the City of Cibolo to include a 134-14 acre tract of land belonging to Eddie A. Wagner. A motion was made by Fred Niemietz (Edward Ling) and passed unanimously to pass Ordinance No . 125 extending the ETJ of the City of Cibolo to include a 9/10 acre tract of land belonging to Charles E. Morisey. A motion was made by Edward Ling (Mrs . Lieck) and passed unanimously to pass Ordinance No . 126 extending the ETJ of the City of Cibolo to include a 23.446 acre tract of land belonging to Charles E. Morisey.
