After much discussion on the proposed Livestock Ordinance, the council felt
it should be tabled until the next meeting due to the absence of Mayor Schlather.
Stephen Dykes made a motion to table the Ordinance until next meeting, Fred
Niemietz seconded the motion, Motion passed unanimously.
City Building Inspector Grant Pfeil brought to the Council's attention that
Mr. Gerald Thurman had asked for a building permit to construct an addition
to his home (215 Meek) . Due to the clearance left between the house and
the garage (less than 10 feet) , Mr. Pfeil had refused to grant the permit .
The Council felt that since Mr. Thurman had bought the property on the in-
tention of adding on before Cibolo passed the SSBC and Subdivision Ordinance,
the permit should be granted. Therefore, a motion was made by Marge Smith,
seconded by Fred Niemietz, and passed unanimously to grant Mr. Thurman a
zoning variance, thusmaking it possible for the Building Inspector to issue
the requested permit.
