Min CC 07/15/1976 MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MEETING CIBOLO, TEXAS REGULAR MEETING, THURSDAY EVENING; JULY 15, 1976, 7:00 O'CLOCK P.M. 1 . CALL TO ORDER: Mayor F . S. Schlather. 2 . QUORUM CHECK: Mayor F. INVOCATION: None. 4. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS CITY COUNCIL MEETING: a. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved with the following corrections: A motion was made by Fred Niemietz(Marvin Kierum) and passed unanimously tc _ntato.,rtentatively approventhiee%wheCreekcWestsSub divisionbplat subject'1to1:)rj submission of satisfactory restrictive covenant. 5. FINANCIAL REPORT a. The financial report for Jung was approved, subject to audit, by the Council. 6. OLD BUSINESS a. Mayor Schlather presented the restrictive covenants furnished by the / developers of Town Creek West Subdivision. Copies are attached to the minutes . A motion was made by Stephen Dykes (Edward Ling) and passed unanimously to accept the restrictive covenants presented and give final approval of the subdivision plat of Town Creek West. b. A motion was made by Fred Niemietz (Marvin Kierum) and passed unanimously to rezone .880 acre tract owned by Mr. Dale Wilson from commercial to single family Type 1 A. c . Mayor Schlather briefed the Council on the latest status on the Green Valley Water contract, painting the water tower, drilling the water well and efforts to obtain a sanitary easement on the water well site. d. Council agreed to hold a joint meeting with the Board of Directors of the Green Valley Water Corp. The Council authorized Mayor Schlather to hire Mr. Charles Kuhn to drill a test water well at $3 .00 a foot. e. After discussion the Council agreed to a partial payment to Townsend Tank and Tower Service for $1500.00 based on the engineers inspecto.rr:. report to the City Hall or the Mayor each time an inspection is made. f. Wayne gave a,.brief report of his activities for the past month. g. As a part of Wayne's report he noted that two consecutive polluted water samples had been obtained from the Circle K Trailer Park water system. Linda was directed to contact Fred Beutnagel, the County Health Officer or Mr. Bennie Bock concerning this problem. f h. Wayne was requested by the Council to provide complete reports of his actin t� activities and operating expenses for monthly review by the Council.
