3 . MINUTES OF PREVIOUS CITY COUNCIL MEETING:
a. Regular City Council Meeting Minutes, July 15, 1976.
The Council approved the minutes as written.
4. FINANCIAL REPORT: _
a. None.
5. OLD BUSINESS:
a . Some discussion ensued concerning the water well site, the contract with
Green Valley Water Supply and the widening of 1103.
6. NEW BUSINESS:
a . Gladys was directed to call the County Commissioner's office concerning
poison for fire ants .
b . Ed Mosher was employed in a training capacity to assume the position of
Wayne Zwicke, who resigned as Police Chief effective Sept. 1 .
Mosher' s appointment is subject to final approval at the council's
September meeting.
c . A motion was made by Stephen Dykes(Marvin Kierum) and passed unanimously
to send Linda to a Court Clerk Seminar in Austin September 12-15, 1976.
d. The TML Region 7 meeting scheduled for Friday, August 27, 1976, will be
attended by the majority of the Council .
e. A letter was sent to Mr. Owen L. Wright explaining the position of the
Council concerning the restrictions placed on his property in Green Valley
Park by Mr. McCoy.
f. Mayor Schlather informed the Council of the September 16, CPR Class(Cardio-
pulmonary resuscitation) at the Cibolo State Bank. He asked the council to_.. :_-__
attend this meeting.
g. A motion was made by Marvin Kierum(Marge Smith) to pass an ordinance setting
August 19, as the date for a public hearing on property located. on Country
Lane(100' x 147') Southwest corner, out of the 5.0 acres, part of 18.11 acres
in the Geronimo Leal Survey in the City Limits of the City of Cibolo, Texas
belonging to Joseph Grothues .
7 . ADJOURNMENT:
a. There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 8:15 P.M.
