Min CC 06/23/1977 MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 23, 1977 REGULAR MEETING 1 . CALL TO ORDER: Mayor John A. Sippel 2 . QUORUM CHECK: Linda N. Ling, City Secretary. Total Council present. 3. INVOCATION: Given by Edward Ling. 4. MINUTES: A motion was made by William W. Wiederstein seconded by Fred Niemietz and passed unanimously to approve the minutes as presented. 5. OLD BUSINESS: A. A letter was read from Mr. William Snyder- to--the City Council concerning his mail order business in his residence. . A letter is to be sent to Mr. Snyder to make him aware of our Planning and Zoning. This was made in the form of a motion by Marge Smith, seconded by Sig Swenson and passed unanimously by the city council. _ B. A motion was made by Marge Smith seconded by William Wiederstein and passed unanimously to permit the changing of B. & H. Body Shop to an auto repair shop but to specify the same rules as was enforced in the Specific Use Permit . C. A motion was made by Marge Smith seconded by William Wiederstein and passed unanimously to reject Mr. Coy Simmons proposal on a mobile home park in the City's ETJ and to suggest any further changes to be taken to the City's Engineer, Mr.' W. H. Mullins . D. The City agreed to hire Mr. Henry Pfeil to mow City property at the cost of $10.00 per hour. 6. NEW BUSINESS: A. A motion was made by Edward Ling seconded by Sig Swenson and passed unanimously to pay the attached bills including the GVEC bill which will be paid as soon as the Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept. sends the City's reimbursement. -- f 7.
