REGULAR MEETING, THURSDAY EVENING, FEBRUARY 10, 1977, 8:00 0' CLOCK P. M.
1 . CALL TO ORDER: Mayor F. S. Schlather,

3 . INVOCATION: ;'IE1_
a. Theuinvocation was given by Edward Ling.
4. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: '
a . _The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as presented.
5. OLD BUSINESS:
a . Cibolo Water Well Site: The bidder has been notified. Mr. Mullins will
send the City a letter specifying what is recommended concerning the water well.
6. NEW BUSINESS:
a. Citizens were heard concerning the City' s merger with Schertz . A number of
of citizens appeared before the City Council to discuss the merger with Schertz.
Everyone who appeared wav negative on the subject. A motion was made by Marge
Smith (Fred Niemietz) and passed unanimously to forgo any more effort on the
study.
b. David Dennis, coordinator for CCMA reviewed the 208 Plan. Cibolo's zoning and
land use will be added to the AACOG Growth Map.
c . A motion was made by Fred Niemietz (Marvin Kierum) , and passed unanimously to
3,Dp2ov,=. approve-the budget subject to audit.
d. A motion was made by Edward Ling (Fred Niemietz) and passed unanimously to pass
Ordinance #232 setting March 4, 1977 at 6:00 P.M. as the date for a public hear-
ing to rezone 57 .730 acres belonging to F. S. Schlather et ux and Ernst A.
Schlather et ux from Single Family- R1 to Commercial.
e. A motion was made by Edward Ling (Marge Smith) and passed unanimously to -pass
Ordinance # 233 resetting the Speed Zones on F. M. 78 in Cibolo . See attached
map.
f. Fred Niemietz made a motion, seconded by Marvin Kierum to call a City Election
on April 2, 1977 • Places for reelection are Mayor, Place 2 and Place 3. The ft
Council voted unanimous .
g. A motion was made by Marge Smith (Edward Ling) to pay the attached bills . The
Council voted unanimous .
7 . ADJOURNMENT:
a. There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 11 :45 P.M.
