1. CALL TO ORDER: John A. Sippel, Mayor
2 . QUORUM CHECK: All members of the Council present, Jeronimo Marin,Jr., Chief of Police,
Barbara Glenewinkel
3. INVOCATION: Bill Wiederstein
4. MINUTES: Marge Smith (Albert Robison) moved to accept the minutes. Motion carried.
5. CITIZENS TO BE HEARD: Mrs . Henry L. Nirider
A. Mrs. Nirider appeared to request a permit to move a mobile home or prefab-
ricated house onto her lot on Bee Street. Ordinances were reviewed and
Mrs . Nirider was requested to bring plans of house before the Council. The
house or mobile home will have to meet building code standards.
B. The Henry Rosenbaum rent house joining Mrs. Nirider's property was dis-
cussed with Mrs. Nirider requesting the building be to rn down when the
Rosenbaum property is sold.
6. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Sewer Flow problem with COMA was discussed. It was decided to hire CCMA
to run a pressure test with RobertCamper, Andrew Tolle and MayorSippel
discussing it.
B. The letter from Tom Weaver (CCMA) was read concerning meter reading for
Schneider Industrial Park. CCMA will prepare addendum to their contract
%ri.th the City to include Industrial Park. Each tie-in will be negotiated
seperately to determine rates. Fred Niemietz (Albert Robison) made the
motion COMA be informed to draw up the contract for study.
Bill Wiederstein stated he abstained from voting due to conflict of
interest.
Motion carried.
C. Tuesday, November 28th, 1978 was set as meeting date with auditor.
D. Sig Swenson (Bill Wiederstein) made a motion the Council Meeting on
November 16th be held at 8:15 instead of 7:00 P.M. due to the grand
opening of Timber Tech, Inc . Motion carried.
E. Fred Niemietz presented the Council with a check for $98.00 from the
Cibolo Volunteer Fire Dept. The check was previously presented to the
Fire Dept. by Sig Swenson in payment of table rent for the Flea Market.
The Fire Dept. specified the donation be used for playground equipment
and/or picnic tables in the City Park.
F. A letter from Mr. W.E.Dean concerning water lines to his property was
read and discussed.
7. BILLS TO BE APPROVED: Sig Swenson (Fred Niemietz) moved the bills presented for
approval be accepted. Motion carried.
8. ADJOURNMENT: Sig Swenson (Bill Wiederstein) moved the meeting be adjourned at
10:15 P.M. Motion carried.
