A PUBLIC HEARING WAS HELD AT 7:00 P.M'.., MAY 21, 1979
AT THE CITY HALL, CIBOLO, TEXAS TO HEAR THE PUBLIC'S
OPINION ON THE REZONING OF THE PROPERTY LOT 8, BLOCK
1, FOUR LEAF PARK FROM RESIDENTIAL TO °COMMERCIAL.
Mayor Sippel began the hearing by describing the property, pointing it out
on the zoning map. ,arid introducing Mr. Norman Drisco .
Mr. Norman Drisco, president of Dricer Corp., owners of the property, explained
the purpose of his plans for a warehouse is for the storage of trucks and material
of his vending machine business. He explained the building plans and answered
questions from citizens.
Mr. Kenneth Witten, Investors' Mortgage Co . stated he is one of the developers of
the Four Leaf Park and he stated when the land was developed this particular lot
was designated as commercial.
Mr. Ed Higginson, a property owner in the area questioned Mr. Drisco as to the
type of building, working hours and noise factor.
Mr. Drisco stated the hours will be primarially between the hours of 8 A.M. to
5 P.M. with trucks housed inside the warehouse.
Mr. Higginson then said he had no objection to the rezoning.
According to the zoning Ordinance # 61, if there is no dissenting vote on the
Zoning Board, the City Council may make a decision at the close of the public
hearing. The Zoning Board voted to accept the request.
Sig Swenson (Albert Robison) moved the request be accepted.
All approved.
The public hearing for the Drisco property adjourned at 7:15 P.M. with the property
rezoned commercial.
