THE REZONING OF A PORTION OF PROPERTY BELONGING
TO W.E . LITTLE, SITUATED ON NORTH MAIN STREET,
CIBOLO, TEXAS, FROM RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL.
Mayor John Sippel began the hearing by describing the property and introducing
Mr. Little, who then gave a detailed report on his plans for a small appliance
repair shop in one of the small out buildings on his property.
The following property owners voiced their opinion in opposition of the rezoning:
Mrs. Josie Nirider
Mr. Jerry Bode
Mr. Donald Triesch
Mr. & Mrs . Herman Hoffman o
Vis": FeW±edxeer 1
Mr. Fred Niemeitz
The property owners gave various reasons for their objections, from not wanting
a junk yard in the area to concern for school children in the area. Some of them
felt would create too much traffic in and out of the area from people coming to
do business.
The following property owners voiced their opinion in favor of the rezoning:
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Fromme
Mr. Erwin Flugrath
Mr. and Mrs. Little were both commended as being good neighbors who are working
hard on cleaning up the property that has been vacant for a year or more. These
comments came from persons both for and against the rezoning. The citizens said
they had no objections to the Little family, only the rezoning of the property.
Mayor Sippel stated the Planning and Zoning Board will meet soon and the City
Council will make its decision at the Council meeting on Thursday, May 24, 1979.
The Public Hearing adjourned at 8:40 P.M.
