Mr. Richard Analla was unable to attend the zoning meeting as planned due to new
working hours .
Chairman Smith called for a general discussion on the subdivision draft ordinance
each member had taken home for reviewing at the last meeting.
It was the general consensus of the board that a new zoning & subdivision ordinance
and a new zoning map is definitely needed in order to assure proper development in
the city. Also, requirements on streets, water8, sewer lines and improvements in
general need to--be compiled nd added to ordinance.
Or•dir, ancet, should be set up to decided how town should grow but be flexible and(
not prohibitive .
Lewis Borgfeld refused the nomination as chairman made by Claude Smith.
Kenneth Nichols (Lewis Borgfeld) nominated Claude Smith for Chairman of the Board
for the coming year. All approved.
Engineers were discussed generally. Mr. Miller will contact his son-in-law who
is in engineering school as the present time, about possible engineers to work
on an ordinance for the city.
The Zoning Board adjourned at 9:30 with the next meeting set for June 2, 1980
at 7:00 p .m.
