QUORUM CHECK: Chairman Claude Smith, Members Jeff Miller, Ken ,Nichols, E. C. Wiederstein, Lewis Borgf eld; Councilmembers Josie Nirider and 'Marge Smith and Bldg Inspector Andrew Tolle 03. BUSINESS AT HAND: A. Ed Cullivan, Developer of Cher Ron Subdivision on Green Valley Road attended the Board meeting to request variances on the Subdivision Ordinance . Mr. Gallivan had attended the Planning & Zoning Board Meeting on Feb . 3, 1981 with a preliminary plat and the P & Z Board recommended the Council approve the preliminary plat. Mr. Cullivan attended the Council meeting Feb. 5, 1981- and received approval from the Council. After Mr. Cullivan was informed on May 21st at the Council Meeting that he was in the ETJ and would have to comply.with the City Subdivision Ordinance, Mr. Cullivan .asked to be on the P &. Z agenda . Mr. Cullivan asked the P & Z Board to allow him to follow the County requirements for road construction since the County would be maintaining the road. A long discussion was held on water line sizes - suggested pipe sizes are noted on plat of subdivision. The two fire hydrants provided for were not sufficient, and the P & Z Board suggested three. Lewis Borgfeld (Jeff Miller) made a motion Mr. Cullivan be allowed to follow standards of the Guadalupe County Subdivision Ordinance and be granted' a variance to the City Subdivision Ordinance with the exception of providing three (3) fire hydrants instead of two (2) the third hydrant to be located in the vicinity of Lots 28 and 29 •- All Approved. B. Vaughan Co . Variance Request . C.P. Vaughan and Mark Vaughan developers of Cibolo North Unit,21, attended the P & Z Meeting to request variances to the subdivision ordinance for Cibolo North Unit 2 . A copy of variances requested is attached. Vaughan Co . also presented their plat for final approval. The Vaughan Co . requested Lots, 1, 2 and .3 be rezoned multifamily and Lots 4 thru 34 be zoned single family. Jeff Miller (Kenneth Nichols) made a motion the Planning and Zoning Board recommend to the Council they approve the plat presented by Vaughan Co . All approved. 4.
