1. CALL TO ORDER: 7 p.m. Mayor Ed Ling
2. INVOCATION: Mayor Ling
3. QUORUM CHECK: Mayor Ling, Councilmembers: Marge Smith, Fred Niemietz, Bill
Little;-Building Insp. Andrew Tolle; Engineers Bill Mullins and
Cliff Taylor; City Sec. Barbara Glenewinkel.
4. BUSINESS AT HAND:
A. Bill Mullins and Cliff Taylor of W.H. Mullins Engineering Firm
attended the meeting to bring the cost estimates of the Drain-
age and Paving Project being considered by the City Council.
A copy of these figures is attached to original minutes.
The total cost estimate is $220,000. The city council had
anticipated a cost estimate of $150,000. Mayor Ling stated that
Tom Anderlitch, Financial Advisor for the City would be con-
sulted concerning a greater amount of bonds.
The drainage easement on the Watson, Steves and Flannery
property is still in question, so a decision on the drainage
and paving was tabled until further information could be
obtained.
Bill Little (Marge Smith) moved further discussion on the
drainage and paving be tabled until 6/17/82. All approved.
B. Mr. Mullins stated he had checked the grades on Haeckerville
Rd. between F.M. 78 and the 5th or 6th house and he believes
the slope could be enough for the first 5 or 6 houses to be
connected to the sewer.
C. The analysis on the well on Krickhahn property was discussed.
Mr. Mullins had a test done and that the report was not good.
He advised that the water was not fit for human or animal
consumption and that he would suggest the owner of the property
be notified.
5. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 10:50 p.m. with an executive session
following to discuss personnel.
