5. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Historical Building Presentation
Mr. Tom De Kunder, member of the Guadalupe Historical Society,
made a presentation on the old school building located on the
campus at Wiederstein school. He is trying to find a site for
the old school. Once the school is located on a permanent site,
community groups can work at restoration of the old building.
Mr. De Kunder had some of the old records of the school dating
back to 1887 and he is confident that he can get a historical
marker for the school and for Cibolo .
B. Gutierrez Garbage Contract
Mr . Henry Gutierrez appeared to request increase in rates on
current garbage contract. Mr. Brooks presented breakdown showing
comparison of rates in Marion, Schertz, Universal City,
Cibolo present, Gutierrez proposed and Cibolo proposal. Mr .
Gutierrez agreed to rates of Cibolo proposal. He further proposed
to furnish container for a spring clean-up . He will adjust
contract and submit to Council for approval.

7. ITEMS BY CITY ADMINISTRATOR:
A. Suburban Day
A committee is working on Cibolo presentation. It will depict
Cibolo from the beginning (past to present) . Council was
invited to attend.
- B. Paving
Work on paving and drainage is being delayed due to necessity to
lower gas lines on Santa Clara St. Mr. Robbins will start on a
street with lesser priority until he is able to begin work on
Santa Clara St .
C. Police Dept
(1) Our reserve police officer has resigned.
(2) Our new police officer will begin work 19 February 1983 .
