1: CALL TO ORDER: 7 : 00 PM Mayor Little
2 . INVOCATION: Bill Wiederstein
3 . ROLL CALL: Mayor Bill Little; City Administrator Tommy M.
Brooks ; Councilmembers : Jo Nirider, Fred Niemetz ,
Dannie Bishop, Bill Wiederstein (Marge Smith
absent due to prior business commitment )
4 . CITIZENS TO BE HEARD: Mr. Donald Jaeger inquired as to
what procedure to follow in bringing
broken water lines to the attention
of city personnel. Mayor Little
told Mr. Jaeger to report reasons for
unusual water usage to City Secretary.
5 . CONSENSUS ITEMS: Dannie Bishop ( Jo Nirider) moved that
consensus items be approved as listed.
All approved.
6 . MEET WITH MR. WALTER EHLER, STATE HIGHWAY DEPT. , ABOUT A
PROPOSED FM 78 BY-PASS.
Mr. Ehlers appeared and presented final drawings (schmatics )
on proposed FM 78 By-Pass . A Public Hearing has been
scheduled by the State for March 22 , 1984 , to give the public
a chance to acquaint themselves with this project .
7 . APPROVAL OF ORDINANCE AND SERVICE PLAN TO ANNEX 121 . 846
ACRES OF LAND INTO THE CORPORATE- LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
CIBOLO.
Fred Niemietz ( Dannie Bishop) moved that Ordinance 327
and service plan be approved. All approved.
8 . APPROVAL OF ORDINANCE AND SERVICE PLAN TO ANNEX 71. 326
ACRES OF LAND INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO.
Fred Niemietz ( Jo Nirider) moved that Ordinance 328 and
service plan be approved. All approved.
9 . APPROVAL OF SUBDIVISION PLAT FOR SWINNEY DEVELOPMENT
CO.
Mr-: - Neil Fisher appeared for Swinney Development Co. and
explained variances requested.
Jo Nirider (Bill Wiederstein) moved that we table plat at
this time and make a further study. The matter will be taken
up again at a future date. All approved.
10 . APPROVAL OF USER FEES FOR CITY PARK.
Dannie Bishop ( Jo Nirider) moved that user fees be approved
as listed. All approved.
11 . ITEMS BY MAYOR AND COUNCILMEMBERS
A. Mayor Little
( 1 ) Mayor Little called attention to a letter from
• City of Universal-, City requesting that cities
in this area help share cost of implementing
the program for the San Antonio to Austin Corridor.
( 2 ) The Chamber of Commerce is working on a brochure
promoting cities in the Greater Randolph Area.
Mayor Little has assured the Chamber that Cibolo
will participate.
B. Councilmember Jo Nirider asked Mr. Brooks to set up a
joint workshop with the Planning and Zoning
Commission.
