MINUTES OF CITY COUNCIL MEETING
MARCH 6, 1984
1. CALL TO ORDER: 7:05 Mayor Little
2. INVOCATION: Dannie Bishop
3. ROLL CALL: Mayor Bill Little; City Administrator Tommy M. Brooks;
Councilmembers: Jo Nirider, Marge Smith, Fred Niemietz,
Dannie Bishop, Bill Wiederstein; City Secretary

4. CITIZENS TO BE HEARD: None
5. CONSENSUS ITEMS:
Jo Nirider (Fred Niemietz) moved that consensus items be approved.
All approved.
6. APPROVAL OF DOBIE HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION. _
Mr. Doug Sultenfuss, Head of Civil Engineering Dept, and Mr. Garry
Abrahamson, President, PFA and Associates, Inc. presented plat of Dobie
Heights Subdivision . The variances requested were discussed in
detail.
a. Request in variance of lot size to 60' .
b. Council wants developer's assurance that houses will be of three-quarter
masonry construction.
c. Request that engineer's approval be obtained on fact that construction
will be out of flood plain.
d. The council agreed to approve length of cul-de-sac on basis of lay
of the land. Hereafter, each cul-de-sac on subdivision plats will
be judged on their own merit.
Mayor Little asked for a definite answer for the engineers, inasmuch as
they have submitted plat several times and each time the council has
asked for additional changes.
Councilmember Wiederstein stated that he would accept the 60lots
with houses of three-quarter masonry construction. All agreed
except Mrs. Smith who felt that plat should be returned to P&Z-prior
to any action by council.
Final approval is contingent upon plat approval of Mr. W. H. Mullins.
7. APPROVAL OF PARTICIPATION IN SAN AN'T'ONIO/AUSTIN CORRIDOR COUNCIL.
Marge Smith (Jo Nirider) moved that City of Cibolo contribute
$300.00 to Greater Austin/San Antonio Corridor Council. All approved.
8. APPROVAL OF PARTICIPATION WITH TML TOWARD THE CABLE TV DEFENSE FUND.
Fred Niemietz (Dannie Bishop) moved that the City of Cibolo contribute
$150.00 to TML toward the cable TV defense fund. All. .approved.
