THE CIBOLO CITY COUNCIL CONVENED IN A "SPECIAL MEETING"
ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 14, 1990 AT 7:00 P.M. AT THE CIBOLO
MUNICIPAL OFFICES, 109 SOUTH MAIN STREET, CIBOLO, TEXAS. THE
FOLLOWING WAS THE ORDER OF BUSINESS:
1. CALL TO ORDER.
Mayor Bauder called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
2. ROLL CALL.
Members present: Tino Delgado, Mark Buell, Tex
Farnsworth and Mayor Bauder. Absent due to illness -
Jeff Miller and Bob Glisar absent due to business.
Staff present: David Walker, Ann Smith and Chief
Suiter.
3. INVOCATION.
Council Member Tex Farnsworth gave the invocation.
4. CITIZENS TO BE HEARD.
None were present.
5. DISCUSSION ON THE 1990 TAX RATE, IF INCREASE OF MORE
THAN THREE PERCENT PROPOSED, TAKE ROLL CALL VOTE AND
ANNOUNCE DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING.
Tex Farnsworth (Tino Delgado seconded) motioned to
propose a tax rate of $ .398472 for 1990, which is a
5116 increase over the effective tax rate and to set a
public hearing on the tax increase for Thursday,
August 23, 1990 at 6 :30 P.M. Mayor Bauder called for
a roll call vote:
Tino Delgado "yes" Bob Glisar Absent
Mark Buell "yes" Jeff Miller Absent
Tex Farnsworth "yes"
Mayor Bauder No Vote Required.
6. COMMENTS BY COUNCIL MEMBERS.
Tex Farnsworth requested that the Cibolo Volunteer
Fire Dept. representative give an "update" on the
construction plans at the next council meeting .
Tino Delgado ask if the owners of the vacant lots in
Thistle Creek could be required to mow on a schedule,
rather than when "complaints were voiced" .
7. COMMENTS BY STAFF.
Ann Smith mentioned that a committee meeting was
�. needed soon on the 25th Anniversay Celebration.
David Walker stated that proposals were out to seal
coat Sunflower, Indian Blanket and Schlather Street.
Work to be completed in FY 1989-90.

Mayor Bauder had no comments.
9. ADJOURNMENT.
Tex Farnsworth (Tino Delgado seconded) motioned to
adjourn. All approved.
