A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS,
EXPRESSING SUPPORT FOR THE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS TO THE
TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (TBDOT) UNDER THE SB 1555
GRANT PROGRAM, INCLUDING THE FM 78 & COUNTRY LANE RAIL
SEPARATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Cibolo recognizes the urgent need for enhanced mobility and
safety at the FM 78 and Country Lane at -grade rail crossing; and
WHEREAS, the SB 1555 Grant Program provides $250 million in funding to eliminate
unsafe rail crossings and promote statewide mobility and safety; and
WHEREAS, the City affirms its intent to submit multiple project applications, including
the FM 78 & Country Lane rail separation; and
WHEREAS, the City acknowledges the requirement of a 10% local match and will
actively secure contributions from local, regional, and private partners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS, supports and endorses the preparation ands ssion, l
applications to the TXDOT SB1555 Grant Program and authorizes the�ayor and
Staff to take necessary steps to execute and administer such applicatio
