THE CIBOLO CITY COUNCIL CONVENED IN A REGULARLY SCHEDULED COUNCIL
MEETING ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 25, 1992 AT 7:00 P.M. AT THE CIBOLO
MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 109 SOUTH MAIN STREET, CIBOLO, TEXAS. THE
FOLLOWING WAS THE ORDER OF BUSINESS:
1. CALL TO ORDER.
Mayor Sam Bauder called the meeting to order at 7 :00 P.M.
2. ROLL CALL.
All councilmembers were present. Staff present: Ann Smith, David
Walker, Wes Suiter.
3. INVOCATION.
Councilmember Tex Farnsworth gave the invocation.
4. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE.
Mayor Bauder lead those present in the pledge of allegiance.
5. CITIZENS TO BE HEARD.
No one present requested to address the Council.
6. CONSENSUS ITEMS:
A. MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING, AUGUST 11, 1992.
Councilmember Jeff Miller (Councilmember Tex Farnsworth seconded)
motioned to approve the consensus item as presented. All
approved. Motion carried.
7. APPROVAL/DISAPPROVAL OF BUDGET AMENDMENT TO ENHANCE PUBLIC
WORKS FACILITY.
Councilmember Tex Farnsworth (Councilmember Mark Buell seconded)
motioned to approve amending the budget for $500 to pay the
C.C.M.A. Sewer Tap fee to locate restroom facility at the
maintenance yard. Voting "yes" - Jeff Miller, Claude Smith, Mark
Buell and Tex Farnsworth. Opposed - Tino Delgado. Motion carried
-4-1 Vote.
8. COMMENTS BY COUNCIL MEMBERS.
Mark Buell showed the 1992 Cibolo Fest "flyer" and gave an update
on the plans for the event.
Tex Farnsworth reminded the council of the upcoming Boysville
Breakfast and Auction.
9. COMMENTS BY STAFF.
David Walker stated that he had received word from the State
Highway Dept. that the Proposed Loop 539 and the Dietz/FM 3009
projects would be funded. Councilmember Farnsworth reiterated his
his past comments that he did not want any funds spent until we
had something concretized.
10. COMMENTS BY MAYOR.
Mayor Bauder thanked those in attendance for coming to the
meeting.
11. ADJOURNMENT_
Tex Farnsworth (Mark Buell seconded) motioned to adjourn at 7 :07
P.M.
