Min CC 12/14/1993 MINUTES OF CITY COUNCIL MEETING
THE CIBOLO CITY COUNCIL CONVENED IN A REGULARLY SCHEDULED
MEETING ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 14, 1993 AT 7 :00 P.M. AT THE CIBOLO
MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 109 SOUTH MAIN STREET, CIBOLO, TEXAS. THE
FOLLOWING WAS THE ORDER OF BUSINESS:
I . CALL TO ORDER.
II . ROLL CALL. All members were present.
III . INVOCATION. Tex led the pledge.
IV. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. The Mayor led the pledge.
V. CITIZENS TO BE HEARD_. (LIMIT 3 MINUTES EACH)
Mr. B. J. Gray addressed the Council in regards to a letter about
the Deer Creek subdivision's request for smaller lot size
approval . He was against the 55-foot lot width and he believed
that the developer pulled out of the entire project when they
left the P&Z meeting.
VI . CONSENSUS ITEMS:
A. CHECK REGISTER FOR OCTOBER 1993
Tex questioned the amount of fuel being used and the
computer fees .
B. CHECK REGISTER FOR NOVEMBER 1993
Norman questions the difference in salary from October to
Novemeber and is told that this is a result of the payoff for
former City Sec. Ann Smith.
Tex moves for approval , Claude seconds . approved.
VII . APPROVE/DISAPPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF THE P&Z ON A
VARIANCE REQUEST FROM JACK TOKAR
Mr. Tokar was not able to attend the P&Z and Tex moves for
tabling this until the next meeting. Jeff Seconds the motion.

VIII . APPROVE/DISAPPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF THE P&Z ON
VARIANCE REQUEST FOR DEER CREEK SUBDIVISION PHASE I ,
UNIT 1.
Jeff moves to open discussion and Tex seconds. The developer is
requesting a variance from the 60-foot lot requirement .
Tex asks about the average square footage and is told that
minimum by deed restriction will be 1500 sf . The larger size will
be about 2600 sf per house. Jeff asked for clarification on where
the 55-foot minimum would be met, at the curb or the front of the
house.
Jeff asks that the lots must be at least 6000 sf per lot except
cul de sacs . (NO ONE TURNS OVER TAPE. TAPE ENDS)
