RESOLUTION NO. 1081
A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CIBOLO, TEXAS ESTABLISHING AN ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN
TO BE FOLLOWED IN THE PREPARATION OF THE CITY OF
CIBOLO'S ANNUAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR OCTOBER 1,
1985 TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1986.
WHEREAS, the Administrative Plan is as follows:
The Plan List actions and dates to be followed in the
course of the budget preparation process:
1. July 1, 1985: City Administrator distributes budget
information packets, including budget request forms, to all
departments. The City Administrator will help departments
complete their request forms which will be completed by July 15,
1985.
2. JULY 1 - JULY 15: City Administrator prepares revenue
estimates for upcoming fiscal year.
3. July 3: Publish Notice for public hearing concerning
the proposed use of revenue sharing funds.
4. July 16: Public Hearing concerning the proposed use
of revenue sharing funds.
5. July 16 - July 26: City Administrator checks accuracy
and validity of departmental budget needs and prepares proposed
budget and submitts to Mayor for review; City Administrator
will work closely with the Mayor inthe preparation of the pro-
posed budget.
6. July 26: Mayor/City Administrator submitts proposed
budget to City Council and files copy with City Secretary.
7. July 26 - August 13: Council reviews and modifies
budget.
8. August 7: Publish notice of public hearing on proposedl
budget.
9. August 6 & August 13: Council conducts workshops on
proposed budget.
10. August 20: Council conducts public hearing on the
proposed budget.
11. September 17: Council adopts budget and sets tax rates
for next fiscal year.
12. Copies of the final budget are filed with the City
Secretary and County Clerk.

Budget Law; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS
THAT the said Administrative Plan describing the various steps
to be taken in the budget process be adopted as such.
