AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREIN AFTER DESCRIBED
TERRITORY INTO THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS AND EXTENDING THE
BOUNDARY LINES OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SUCH PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been heretofore filed by Mr. Victor Lee Zengerle &
Mrs. Mary Winkler Zengerle, being the owners of certain land in the extra -territorial jurisdiction
of the City of Cibolo, Guadalupe County, Texas said land being described in paragraph 1 below,
and
WHEREAS, Cibolo City Council approved the annexation on April 22, 2003, and
WHEREAS, said petition in form and substance, fully complies with all of the provisions of
Section 43.028, Local Government Code, V.A.T.S. and
WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Cibolo, is not more than
one-half mile in width and is vacant and without residents; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that said petition should be granted and that such
tract of land should be annexed to the City; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS
The property herein abstracted consists of all that certain tract or parcel of land, being 20.000
acres of land out of that certain 155 acres tract of land conveyed by Emil Wiederstein et ux to
Zaver Rittimann by deed dated March 27, 1928, and recorded in Volume 99 at pages 241-242 of
the Deed Records of Guadalupe County, Texas and Described more particularly by metes and
bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin and corner post in the point o intersection of the Northwest line of
F.M. 1103 with the original Southwest line of the above described 155 acres
tract, set N. 30° 00' W. 15.1 feet from the original South comer of the said 155
acre tract, set for the South comer of the herein conveyed 20.000 acre tract;
THENCE with the fence, the Southwest line of the said 155 acre tract, N. 300 07' w.
2,171.0 feet to an iron pin and corner post set for the West corner of the said 155
acre tract, for the West corner of this 20.000 acre tract;
THENCE with the fence, the Northwest line of the said 155 acre tract, N. 60 00' W. 401.3
feet to an iron pin set for aforesaid FM Road 1103, set for the East corner of this
20.000 acre tract;
THENCE with the fence, the Northwest line of the said FM 1103, S. 600 00' 401.3 feet to
the place of BEGINNING. the North corner of this 20.000 acre tract,
THENCE severing the land of the subject owner, S. 300 07' E. 2,171.0 feet to an iron pin in
the Northwest line of the aforesaid FM Road 1103, set for the East comer of this
20.000 acre tract;
THENCE with the fence, the Northwest line of the said FM 1103, S. 60° 00' 401.3 feet to
the place of BEGINNING.
2. The City Secretary is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this ordinance together with a
copy of said petition with the County Clerk of Guadalupe County, Texas.
3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval.
