AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREIN AFTER DESCRIBED
TERRITORY INTO THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS AND EXTENDING THE
BOUNDARY LINES OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SUCH PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been heretofore filed by Blanton Family Limited
Pamerhip, being the owners of certain land in the extra -territorial jurisdiction of the City of
Cibolo, Guadalupe County, Texas said land being described in paragraph 1 below, and
WHEREAS, said petition in form and substance, fully complies with all of the provisions of
Section 43.028, Local Government Code, V.A.T.S. and
WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Cibolo, is not more than
one-half mile in width and is vacant and without residents; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that said petition should be granted and that such
tract of land should be annexed to the City; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS
1. That the following described property, to wit: Being land being 1.510 acre tract of land
situated in the M. Lindenburg Survey, Abstract 215, Guadalupe County, Texas, and being out of
a 18.15 acre tract as recorded in Volume 599, Page 753, of the Guadalupe County, Texas.
POINT OF
BEGINNING Beginning at a point for the southeast comer of this tract, Thence
S 59° 32' 4" W a distance of 327.70 feet to a point for the
southwest corner of this tract;
THENCE N 310 05' 32" W a distance of 200.00 feet to a point out of the
southwest line of said 18.15 acre tract;
THENCE N 59° 32'34" E crossing said 18.15 acre tract for a distance of
329.23 feet to a point on the northeast line of said 18.15 acre
tract;
THENCE S 300 32' 20" a distance of 200.00 feet to the Point of Beginning
and containing 1.510 acres of land more or less.
BE, and the same is hereby annexed into the City of Cibolo, and that the boundary lines of the
City of Cibolo be and the same are hereby extended to include the above described territory
within the city limits of the City of Cibolo, Texas, and the same shall hereafter be included within
the territorial limits of said city, and the property owners and inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be
entitled to all rights and privileges of other property owners and citizens of Cibolo, and shall be
bound by the acts, ordinances and regulations of said City.
2. The City Secretary is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this ordinance together with a
copy of said petition with the County Clerk of Guadalupe County, Texas.
3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval.
