AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREIN AFTER DESCRIBED
TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS AND EXTENDING THE
BOUNDARY LINES OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SUCH PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been heretofore filed by Mr. Vivian, being the owner of
certain land in the extra -territorial jurisdiction of the City of Cibolo, Guadalupe County, Texas said
land being described in paragraph 1 below, and
WHEREAS, said petition in form and substance, fully complies with all of the provisions of Section
43.028, Local Government Code, V.A.T.S. and
WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Cibolo, is not more than one-
half mile in width and is vacant and without residents; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that said petition should be granted and that such tract
of land should be annexed to the City; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS
1. That the following described property, to wit: Being 0.619 acres of land situated in the
James Jones Survey, Abstract No. 194, Guadalupe County, Cibolo, Texas, and being out of
Tract 3 of the Van Horn Land Subdivision and being more particularly described by metes
and bounds as follows:
POINT OF
BEGINNING Beginning at a point on the northwest right-of-way line of Green Valley
Road for the southwest comer of this tract;
THENCE Leaving said right-of-way N 29°41'38" W a distance of 898.57 feet along
the east line of Tract 2 of said subdivision to a point;
THENCE N.60°18'24"E., crossing Tract 3 of said subdivision for a distance of 30.00
feet to a point;
THENCE 5.29° 41' 38" E., along the west line of Tract 4 of said subdivision for a
distance of 898.57 feet to a point on the northwest right-of-way line of
Green Valley Road for the southeast comer of this tract.
THENCE S. 60° 18'22" W a distance of 30.00 feet to the Point of Beginning and
containing 0.619 acres of land more or less.
Section 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage and approval.
