AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 499 BY GRANTING AN EXTENSION
OF A FRANCHISE TO BEXAR WASTE TO OPERATE GARBAGE COLLECTION
SERVICE IN TBE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS
Whereas, the City of Cibolo granted an exclusive franchise to collect solid waste in all its forms
within the city limits to Bexar Waste, Inc. for a period of two years effective 11-24-98, and
Whereas, the service provided has been satisfactory and the City Council and Bexar Waste both
wish to extend such Franchise.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CIBOLO:
1. The term of the franchise set out in Ordinance #499 is extended for two years from and
after December 1, 2000 to expire December 1, 2002,
2. The rates for the various services are increased effective December 1, 2000 by six (6)
percent over the previous rates.
3. In all other respects, Ordinance #499 is affirmed and shall continue in full force and
effect during the term of the extension.
