AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO,
TEXAS ESTABLISHING FEES AND TERMS OF PAYMENT FOR WATER,
SEWER AND GARBAGE SERVICE WITHIN THE CORPORATE LD41TS OF
THE CITY.
BE TT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO
THAT:
We, the City Council of the Municipality of Cibolo do hereby adopt the following
procedures, late fees, disconnect guidelines, reconnect fees and means of payment
for City water, sewer and garbage service.
All moneys due the City for the previous month's services of water, sewaa and
garbage are due and payable on the 15th' Payments received after the 15' of the
month will have a late fee of ten percent (10%) assigned to the previous amount due.
If ayment is not received by the 25th of the month service will be terminated on the
26t of the month. A reconnect fee of $25.00 will be added to the base fee for service
and the late charge.
Extension of payment date beyond the 25th of the month, in order to avoid
termination of service as set forth above, may be granted by submitting a written
request for extension no latfer than the 20th day of the month in which the bill is
due. It will be at the discretion of the City Administrator as to grant or deny the
request for extension of payment period. There will be only two extensions granted
in any twelve-month period.
Any customer that has two returned checks, for whatever reason, will be placed on a
cash only basis. They will be required to pay their bill with cash, certified check,
cashier's check or money order ONLY.
