AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREIN AFTER DESCRIBED
TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS AND EXTENDING THE
BOUNDARY LINES OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SUCH PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been heretofore filed by Dym Family
Partners, Ltd. being the owners of certain land in the extra -territorial jurisdiction of
the City of Cibolo, Guadalupe County, Texas said land being described in
Paragraph 1 below, and
WHEREAS, said petition in form and substance, fully complies with all of the
provisions of Section 43.028, Local Government Code, V.A.T.S. and
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held; and
WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Cibolo, is
not more than one-half mile in width and is vacant and without residents; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that said petition should be granted
and that such tract of land should be annexed to the City; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO,
TEXAS
1. That the following described property, to wit: Being 87.15 acres of land in
Guadalupe County Texas, out of a 92.371 acre tract of land recorded in Volume
998, Page 60, Deed Records of Guadalupe County, Texas and is more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the northwest right-of-way line of Green Valley Road
(RO.W. — 60'), said point being the most southeasterly corner of said 92.371 acre
tract and corner of this tract;
THENCE 5.58 degrees 53140"W., with said northwest right-of-way line, a distance
of 40.55 feet to a point, an angle point of this tract;
THENCE N. 29 degrees 44'26"W., departing the right-of-way line, a distance of
11.17 feet to a point, an angle point of this tract;
THENCE S.51 degrees 21'46"W., a distance of 19.73 feet to a point, an angle point
of this tract;
TERENCE N.29 degrees 33'31"W., a distance of 140.12 feet to a point, an angle
point of this tract;
THENCE S. 48 degrees 06'01"W., a distance of 259.31 feet to a point on a common
line, being a southeast line of this tract and a northwest line of the Cher -Ron
Subdivision, recorded in Volume 4, Page 155, Plat Records of Guadalupe County,
Texas, an angle point of this tract;
THENCE S. 61 degrees 19'33"W., along said common line, a distance of 490.72 feet
to a point, a southerly corner of this tract;
THENCE N. 35 degrees 37'36"W., a distance of 390.50 feet to a point, a reentrant
corner of this tract;
THENCE S. 61 degrees 21'24"W., a distance of 586.95 feet to a point on the
southwest line of the aforementioned 92.371 acre tract, the most southerly corner of
this tract;
THENCE in a northwesterly direction with said southwest line, the following
courses:
N. 29 degrees 14115"W., a distance of 1110.96 feet to a point, an angle point
of this tract;
N. 29 degrees 08'59"W., a distance of 1173.76 feet to a point, the most
westerly corner of the 92.371 acre tract and of this tract;
THENCE N. 60 degrees 33'44"E., with the northwest line of the 92.371 acre tract, a
distance of 1655.72 feet to a point, the most northerly corner of the 92.371 acre tract
and of this tract;
THENCE S. 29 degrees 17'51" E., with a northeast line of the 92.371 acre tract, a
distance of 943.24 feet to a point, an easterly corner of this tract;
THENCE S. 59 degrees 48'02"W., with a southeast line of the 92.371 acre tract, a
distance of 361.88 feet to a point, a reentrant corner of this tract;
THENCE S. 56 degrees 08'24"E., with a northeast line of the 92.371 acre tract, a
distance of 222.32 feet to a point, a reentrant corner of this tract;
THENCE N.58 degrees 40'44"E., with a southeast line of 92.371 acre tract, a
distance of 29.95 feet to a point, a corner of this tract;
THENCE S. 29, degrees 30'35"E., with a northeast line of the 92.371 acre tract, a
distance of 1632.93 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 87.51 acres
of land more or less.
BE, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Cibolo, and that the boundary
lines of the City of Cibolo be, and the same are hereby extended to include the above
described territory within the city limits of the City of Cibolo, Texas, and the same
shall hereafter be included within the territorial limits of said city, and the property
owners and inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be entitled to all rights and privileges
of other property owners and citizens of Cibolo, and shall be bound by the acts,
ordinances and regulations of said city.
2.The City Secretary is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this ordinance
together with a copy of said petition with the County Clerk of Guadalupe County,
Texas.
3.This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval.
