MINUTES
1. Call to Order — Meeting was called to order by the Chairman Mr. Frias at 6:30 p.m
2. Roll Call and Excused Absences — Members Present: Mr. Frias, Mr. Ragland, Ms. Forsberg, Mr.
Smith, and Mr. Mclaughlin.
3. Invocation/Moment of Silence — Mr. Frias asks for a Moment of Silence.
4. Pledge of Alleeiance — All in attendance recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
5. Citizens to be Heard
This is the only time during the Board Meeting that a citizen can address the Board. It is an
opportunity for visitors and guests to address the Board on any issue to include agenda items. All
visitors wishing to speak must fill out the Sign -In Roster prior to the start of the meeting. The
Board may not debate any non -agenda issue, nor may any action be taken on any non -agenda issue
at this time; however, the Board may present any factual response to items brought up by citizens.
(Attorney General Opinion — JC -0169) (Limit of three minutes each.) All remarks shall be
addressed to the Board as a body, and not to any individual member thereof. Public criticism of
the Board or any action, policy program or service provided by the City is not prohibited. However,
any person making personal, impertinent, or slanderous remarks to individual members of the
Board while addressing the Board may be requested to leave the meeting. This meeting is
livestreamed. If anyone would like to make comments on any matter regarding the City of

6. Consent Agenda
A. Approval of the minutes from November 14, 2022.
B. Approval of the minutes from January 7, 2021
Mr. Ragland made the motion to approve the consent agenda. Motion was seconded by Mr.
Smith. For: All; Against: None. Motion carried 5 to 0.
7. Public Hearings
A. The City of Cibolo Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing to hear public testimony
regarding a variance request reduce rear setback within the High -Density Single -Family (SF- 6)
District, per Ordinance 1048, from ten feet to five feet for an accessory storage shed for certain real
property located at 704 Pipe Gate.
This item was briefed by Ms. Walker from the Planning Department. Mr. Frias opened the public
hearing at 6:35 p.m. The applicant, Mr. Edward, did speak and explained to the board why he was
asking for the variance. The public hearing was closed by Mr. Frias_ at 6:45 p.m.
8. Discussion/Action Items
A. Discussion/Action regarding a variance request to reduce rear setback within the High -Density
Single -Family (SF- 6) District, per Ordinance 1048, from ten feet to five feet for an accessory
storage shed for certain real property located at 704 Pipe Gate.
The board asks both staff and applicant questions concerning the variance. Ms. Forsberg made the
motion to approve a variance request to reduce rear setback within the High -Density Single -Family

certain real property located at 704 Pipe Gate. Motion was seconded by Mr. Ragland. For: All;
Against: None. Motion carried 5 to 0.
9. Adiournment
Ms. Forsberg made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:00 p.m. Motion was seconded by Mr.
Ragland. For: All; Against: None. Motion carried 5 to 0.
