THE CITY COUNCIL OF CIBOLO CONDUCTED A SPECIALLY SCHEDULED BUDGET
WORKSHOP ON MONDAY,AUGUST 18,1997 AT 6:00 P.M.AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING,109
SOUTH MAIN STREET,CIBOLO,TEXAS.THE FOLLOWING WAS THE ORDER OF BUSINESS:
I. CALL TO ORDER.
Mayor Sam Bauder called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M.. Mayor Bauder informed the Council that the meeting
would be a workshop only with no actions taken.
11. ROLL CALL.
Present were Mayor Bauder,and Councilmen Jeff Miller,Bob Glisar,Bert Johnson,and Chuck Ridge,and
Councilwoman Gail Douglas.
Staff was represented by Chief of Police Wes Suiter,City Administrator Tom Newman,Code Compliance Officer
Keith Gilbreath, City Treasurer Phyllis Smith,and Utilities Administrator Claudia Schneider.
III. INVOCATION.
Bob Glisar provided the invocation.
IV. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE.
Mayor Bauder led the pledge.
V. CITIZENS TO BE HEARD. (LUVIIT 3 MINUTES EACH)
No citizens addressed Council.
VI. BUDGET WORKSHOP
City Administrator,Tom Newman,presented preliminary budget worksheets for four accounts,salaries,and
capital outlay to the Council for review. The Debt Service and Parks&Recreation accounts were balanced,the
General Fund account had excess expenditures of$229,912,and the Water&Sewer account had excess revenues
of$2,723. Council reviewed the accounts noting corrections in allocations,adjusting known changes,and
developing objectives.
VII. ADJOURNMENT
Bob Glisar made the motion.
